2487 Tasting Notes
I bought this in Toronto! It tastes somewhat similar to the pumpkin pie tea I had from Sips by recently that tasted like Thai curry. I taste savory spices, and it doesn’t remind me of pumpkin pie. The annoying thing about this one is that it has hibiscus? So it’s a little tart and fruity, which doesn’t fit the vibe at all and is pretty confusing. It also makes my soy milk curdle a little, which I just put up with rather than stopping using it. Ha this one just annoys me every time I drink it. It has potential, but they made so many wrong choices.
This tea tastes sort of like spiced cranberry? It’s a bit too tart at times, and sometimes the flavors don’t combine that smoothly. Sometimes it tastes a little dusty. It doesn’t end up feeling very sophisticated. I drank my entire 2+ ounce pouch pretty quickly, so I must not have been too opposed to the flavors. It was best cold with lots of sugar.
This is supposed to taste like cinnamon rolls, and it sort of does! It reminds me of some S&V dessert blends. With milk and sugar, this is a sweet, decadent, desserty tea. The rooibos is the perfect base for it. It’s just my sort of thing, though not every cup of it is as delicious as some.
This tea is quite similar to Teavana’s white chocolate peppermint herbal from back in the day. I taste pretty equal amounts of the chocolate and the mint. It’s smooth and refreshing. I like it cold sweetened with milk. I do still prefer Nelson’s version of this for my Teavana replacement (good thing too since Sips By doesn’t exist anymore).
This tastes mostly like apples with sometimes a bit of chamomile. It’s pleasant cold, though similar to many teas I’ve had before. It’s not at all tart, just fruity and refreshing. I got this tea at a garage sale, and it’s from a local company, but when I was entering the ingredients on here, I noticed it’s just Adagio’s Peach Serenity tea repackaged. Strangely, it doesn’t taste at all like peach.
This tastes mostly like clove along with the brisk black tea. It’s not amazing or nuanced, but not bad with sugar and milk. The clove leaves my tongue tingling. I shared this with my partner who agreed there was too much clove. You can taste a bit of other spice, but not much.
