I taste the chocolate and a bit of nuttiness. The black base seems a little meh to me. This is all right, but I prefer other brands’ takes on similar flavor profiles. The person I shared it with also felt the cup was very okay.

This is a pretty even mix of authentic orange and natural cinnamon. I like it best cold, though I wouldn’t want it again. It’s not too interesting to me.

TTB tea! The mate is a little bitter and grassy, but it’s never been a base I’ve enjoyed much. On top of that, I can taste a bit of fruitiness, though I wouldn’t be able to identify grapefruit specifically. My partner thought this tasted quite tart, fruity, and pleasant – different tastes I suppose! He says he would rate it a 78, but I’m the one typing…

TTB tea! This is quite mild. I taste a bit of green tea and a bit of a floral flavor. It’s comforting and pretty smooth cold. There’s just a hint of astringency. It’s not my sort of tea, but it’s not bad for what it’s going for.

Finally my last advent tea from 2023! Ha just in time for the next advent season…I liked this chai, though it was quite straightforward. It had a strong powdered ginger flavor, which was tasty warm with milk and sugar. My second cup of this was even tastier than the first. The ginger and black tea were really nice together. It’s not special enough to buy again, but really not bad. Apparently there was supposed to be fruit here?

This is quite earthy, but it also has a distinct root beer flavor. I’m enjoying it cold, though it’s far from the best root beer tea I’ve had. I taste a little too much licorice. It was also too caffeinated for my low caffeine tolerance. It made me feel bad enough that I’ll probably drink any of my other root beer teas instead of this one. The cold resteep tastes super similar to the first.

This was fruity and a little tart. I’m sure I’d appreciate the complexities of it cold, but it was served hot. It was still enjoyable sweetened. I’ve just never loved fruity teas hot, and I didn’t love this one enough to purchase a bag to experiment with.

I’ve been enjoying the plain cacao, but I don’t like this one quite as much. I taste the fruitiness and a hint of chocolate, but I wish the balance were different. It’s much better cold. Then you can taste the jammy strawberry paired with the pleasant chocolate. It’s good with milk and lots of sugar. It’s like strawberry chocolate milk.

The first time I had this, it was a bit too smoky for me. The second time, I gave it a shorter steep than recommended, which was much better. Then I could taste some fruitiness like rhubarb or strawberry along with the smoky base. But the smoke was much milder and supported the flavor profile well. It was quite pleasant with milk and sugar.

This has so much rose in it that I assumed I would hate it. But Anne really knows what she’s doing! This is actually really nice! Granted, I did dodge as many rose petals as I could. I’m drinking this cold, and it’s a bit floral, but that background of black tea is so high quality and nice that I’m not even bothered. It all mixes super nicely with some sugar and milk.
