2482 Tasting Notes
The taste is definitely banana. It was pleasant up until the last little bit, which was bitter. If I were to pick a banana tea to drink, I’d likely pick one with a green base instead. Definitely fun though.
Finally finishing last year’s Christmas sampler from David’s. The teas came in the cutest wreath packaging. When I first tried this, I liked it, but this time, I felt pretty unimpressed. I added milk, sugar, and vanilla to make it tastier. I really enjoyed the Teavana Earl Grey Cream, and I wish I liked this as much. It’s pretty bland. Maybe it’s just how I prepared it this time though.
It looks like you can still get Teavana’s Earl Grey Crème in sachets. So if that’s your favorite, you might look around for them. It looks like Walmart carries them.
I drink some kind of Adagio rooibos every day, and this is what I have currently, so I’ve been drinking a lot of it. I definitely wish it were offered in a smaller size because I wouldn’t have wanted four ounces of this one. It looks pretty, but it tastes almost like plain rooibos. I would have liked to taste the other flavors more. Certainly not bad, but I wouldn’t choose it over other options.
The flavors go so well together. I add a bit of sugar because…I add sugar to all my teas! So it’s a pleasantly sweet and spicy combination. I’ll be sad when this one is gone, but I don’t know if I’d order again at its current price. I’d be more likely to try to make my own. I’ve got some dried sage leaves, so I’m partway there!
I’ve really enjoyed 4/5 teas that I’ve tried from them, and I have two more that I haven’t opened yet. Capri is probably my favorite other than Cocteau, which was discontinued. I’ll be interested to see what you think of their teas! Their marketing and flavor combos definitely intrigue me.
