I have to agree with everyone, at first I tried it as an iced latte and adored it, it was pumpkin spice-ish with the burnt sugar element. However, hot it was rather underwhelming. I think the milk and touch of honey certainly brought out the pumpkin flavor.

This sounds so good, but the flavor is just kind of vague to me? Glad to hear it’s yummy as an iced latte, I might have to try that.

thereadersteacup

It’s very vague hot, mediocre even but it is good as a latte!

I’ve never tried this blend iced or as an iced latte so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it and it tasted like a golden oreo shake! I sweetened the foam a bit with sugar-free vanilla syrup and it was amazing!!

Oooh…I know what I’m making next!

It’s so worth the try!

Something about this tea with a bit of milk and a teeny bit of sweetener is just so warm and inviting. It’s perfect for a gloomy, rainy day like today. However, I still very much prefer Toast and Jam… I always will. This blend is just perfect for a rainy day at work when you really need something to cut the brain fog.

If you haven’t tried Toast & Jam as an iced tea, do when the weather permits!

Courtney

Ahhh hopefully my Toast & Jam arrives soon! :)

Cameron B.

I agree, Toast & Jam is my fave!

thereadersteacup

Ooooh iced sounds so nice! I’m thinking of grabbing a few from amazon or the British Cornershop online. I’m out of Toast and Jam and when I went to Philly the normal shop I grab it from was out :(

One of my DAVID’s TEA favorites, influenced by Tea with Jann of course! I found Jann’s videos when I was just turning 18 and I created thereadersteacup over on Instagram and a now-closed blog soon after. She made the wide world of tea a bit more accessible and a lot less overwhelming. Prior to her videos, I only knew that Harney and Sons, Tealightful, and the local tea room had looseleaf tea. Now, I have a decent collection and tea addiction… Also, I’m so grateful to have Jann as a tea friend, she’s such a positive part of our community and I’m so happy she’s back to making videos.

Flavors: Alcohol, Cake, Cocoa, Coffee, Cream, Dirt, Earth, Milk, Sweet, Vanilla

I love Jann! So glad she’s back. Sadly I did not love this tea, but I wanted to. :P

Coffee and pu’erh fit together nicely.

Everyone’s tastes are so different that’s what makes tea so interesting to me!

Really enjoying this one as a latte! I’m so glad I got the sampler box because I’m trying some new things! It’s more of a cinnamon tea blend than anything chai related based on what I’m tasting but as a latte it tastes like a cinnamonroll. YUM!

One of my favorite fruit tisanes, I quite literally only get it the 3 or 4 times a year that we go to Philly because I tend to only cold brew it and that’s not something I do all year.

Flavors: Bitter, Candy, Hibiscus, Orange, Red Wine, Sour

Sooo we had an oopsie with this one. For reference, I work with children and adults with developmental disabilities and I asked kiddos sister (a teen) to make a matcha for me because I was cleaning something up for her and my work kiddo and I gave her the directions but I drank it with strawberry milk (cherry blossom matcha ) iced and went to make another just to find out that she poured in a whole 50 gram bag in.

I now have a headache but it tasted great. It’s my favorite DT Matcha.

Flavors: Cake, Cherry Blossom, Honey, Milk, Vanilla

ashmanra

Ummmmm, I don’t know what to say but…oh my goodness! The whole 50 grams? I bet you can smell colors!

Cameron B.

That’s a lotta sugar LOL, especially mixed with strawberry milk?! O.O

thereadersteacup

Yeah I know right? LOL I’m okay right now, definitely a headache but having a snack to see if that helps

I tried this early this morning after a mini, anxiety-inducing power outage at 4 am. As soon as the power returned at 745, I turned on the kettle and grabbed this sachet because I needed something sweet and indulgent.

It is nice, a bit of strawberry and a hint of cocoa… I liked it. Would I buy it again? Probably not but I am glad I tried it.

Flavors: Cocoa, Cream, Strawberry, Yogurt

gmathis

We are so dependent on our power grids! A 30-minute outage Saturday morning had me in full Boy-Scout-how-will-we-survive-the-day mode!

Bio

My name is Gabriella but everyone calls me Gabby! I am a 20-year-old college student living in NY, majoring in History and Elementary Education. In my spare time, I post reviews and little pieces of writing on my blog, read books, play video games, write poetry, and love to cuddle up with my two-year-old hound dog Buddy.
I have interesting tea preferences, to say the least:
Definitely a mood drinker, and I tend to change my preferences often, if I have a bad experience with a specific flavor or tea type I end up avoiding it for a while, then dive back in later. I also prefer my teas plain but will sometimes make lattes.

Flavor Preferences:

Fruit: mainly melon, berry, and apple flavors are my favorites. I’m allergic to pineapple, passionfruit, and kiwi.
Dessert: Almost all flavors dessert-wise are welcome I especially love warm and comforting flavors like caramels, chocolates, cookies/biscuits, crumbles, and muffin.
Floral: I prefer violets, lavender, roses, and mallow flowers. Open to all florals, allergic to dandelions.
Spices: I love lightly spiced blends but some like the infamous Hot Cinnamon Spice is too much for me.
Herbs: My favorites are mint, rosemary, sage, thyme, and sometimes basil.
Favorite Companies:
Harney and Sons
Simpson and Vail
White 2 Tea
Plum Deluxe
Trader Nicks
Friday Afternoon

Tea Rating Guide:
90-100: Top tier/ have to have them!
80-89: Really enjoyed it/ collection staple
70-79: Good, probably won’t drink it too often
60-69: I won’t refuse if offered
50-59: It’s okay
40-49: Probably dumped or handed to my Mom
00-39: No, just no

I love doing swaps and if you’re interested in anything in my cupboard let me know!
