I’ve been loving this blend iced this summer! I have a small tin at work that I drink when I’m here :)

I somehow forgot to add this blend but I’m glad I got to add it in today! This blend is something I grabbed on a whim the last time I was in Philly. It’s a bit sweet, smokey, and cocoa like. I really enjoyed it!

Wow, this blend is really nice! I wasn’t expecting to like it that much after the original fail with Chow Hall (which I found I ended up loving cold brewed). It was absolutely delicious! Part of it I think is the creme brulee oolong base but I does taste like Pecan Pie! I can’t wait to try this cold brewed.

Flavors: Burnt Sugar, Caramel, Cream, Pecan

I don’t know how I forgot to add this to my cupboard but oh well! This blend is special to me because the scent reminds me of my Grandfather (he is still with us, it’s not morbid but just nostalgic!). That being said, I have to agree with a lot of the other notes…

This blend is more of a Russian Earl Grey rather than a Russian Caravan. Luckily, I like both. I tend to enjoy smokier teas though I don’t own many at the moment. This blend is a bit bolder than a traditional Earl Grey but I wouldn’t say that it is that smoky. Faintly, yes but it is rather nice.

I still can’t get over the fact that I have never spoken about this tea before! I love this blend and I think that I have been drinking it for around three years now. Yes, because my original start on Instagram and my old blog was back in 2019 and I think I found S&V in January of 2020 so… yeah. Pretty cool. I love it iced, cold brewed, as a latte, or hot with a touch of honey!

Flavors: Bergamot, Biting, Bitter, Bourbon, Brisk, Earl Grey, Malt, Thick

Hmm… I think this one is a tad older but that’s fine I got it on clearance but the main note is the green tea with a hint of coconut and a whisper of cranberry. I like it though, I prefer it cold/ iced… I may cold brew the other half of the sample packet.

Flavors: Alcohol, Bitter, Coconut, Cranberry, Cream, Flat

Hmmm I think that I am going to do another rating change because I gave this blend another shot, cold brewed this time. Hot it was rather bland however, cold brewed I got the caramel and cinnamon with a light apple flavor. Not juicy apple, but baked apple. I’m going to average the scores together for the final rating because I am planning on grabbing more in the future for my cold brew only pile. Hot score: 65 Cold score: 85

Flavors: Apple, Apple Candy, Cinnamon

A cupboard staple! I don’t use tea for medicinal purposes but I love this tea when I’m feeling a bit stressed. Usually only iced unless it’s winter. It’s fresh and minty… a teeny bit savory? But I like it hehe.

Flavors: Lemongrass, Mint, Vegetal

OH MY GOODNESS!!! This has to be one of the absolute best cider herbal blends that I have ever tried. For the hibiscus haters, it’s not at all strong… it is more for color I believe and that teeny amount provides the perfect tartness to make this blend juicy like real cider. It’s sooo sooo good hot and iced. I made the whole 1 oz in a pot to share and I may need to grab more… lol when my ban is over.

Disclaimer… I think that this is identical to the tealyra blend now that I looked at it.

Bio

My name is Gabriella but everyone calls me Gabby! I am a 20-year-old college student living in NY, majoring in History and Elementary Education. In my spare time, I post reviews and little pieces of writing on my blog, read books, play video games, write poetry, and love to cuddle up with my two-year-old hound dog Buddy.
I have interesting tea preferences, to say the least:
Definitely a mood drinker, and I tend to change my preferences often, if I have a bad experience with a specific flavor or tea type I end up avoiding it for a while, then dive back in later. I also prefer my teas plain but will sometimes make lattes.

Flavor Preferences:

Fruit: mainly melon, berry, and apple flavors are my favorites. I’m allergic to pineapple, passionfruit, and kiwi.
Dessert: Almost all flavors dessert-wise are welcome I especially love warm and comforting flavors like caramels, chocolates, cookies/biscuits, crumbles, and muffin.
Floral: I prefer violets, lavender, roses, and mallow flowers. Open to all florals, allergic to dandelions.
Spices: I love lightly spiced blends but some like the infamous Hot Cinnamon Spice is too much for me.
Herbs: My favorites are mint, rosemary, sage, thyme, and sometimes basil.
Favorite Companies:
Harney and Sons
Simpson and Vail
White 2 Tea
Plum Deluxe
Trader Nicks
Friday Afternoon

Tea Rating Guide:
90-100: Top tier/ have to have them!
80-89: Really enjoyed it/ collection staple
70-79: Good, probably won’t drink it too often
60-69: I won’t refuse if offered
50-59: It’s okay
40-49: Probably dumped or handed to my Mom
00-39: No, just no

I love doing swaps and if you’re interested in anything in my cupboard let me know!
