Another win from Simpson and Vail! I’m not surprised, there isn’t much that they have that I don’t love. Don’t go into this blend expecting rich chocolate and berry, it’s more on the berry side with a touch of cocoa to enhance the berry flavor. Its rich and smooth with a buttery base and it’s lovely overall. It smells super familiar, like a bath and body works scent that I just can’t place.
Flavors: Blackberry, Candy, Floral, Vanilla
I love this blend! It was recommended by a friend on Instagram and it took me a while to track down. While I have had it in m stash for a little while, I forgot to add it to my cupboard but it’s too late now because I have two bags left. It’s sweet, citrusy, and buttery with a hint of creamy glaze. A new favorite herbal blend for sure!
Flavors: Butter, Butterscotch, Cake, Candy, Cream, Lemon, Malt
Preparation
I love love loved this blend! I got this as a gift from a close friend of mine and I have to say, she chose very well. Its fruity, floral, and sweet. It’s a balanced green tea that totally curves my view of wedding teas. Most I’ve tried are all white teas which I don’t love but this was nearly perfection!
Flavors: Floral, Fruity, Honey, Rose
I really enjoyed this blend, it reminded me more of maple twist bread than pancakes but it was super yummy. I’m loving all the new teas I’m trying… I got overwhelmed by the advents so I sort of started ignoring them for a bit because I have more than ten days to catch up on and I decided to finish them in January.
Flavors: Bread, Brown Sugar, Maple Syrup, Vanilla
I drank it… I didn’t like it but I was able to finish it. I think I was expecting something similar to Forever Nuts by David’s Tea so it was very disappointing.
Flavors: Alcohol, Almond, Spices, Vanilla
Another hit from my secret Santa exchange with Vallhallow, it was sweet, buttery, toasty, and so nostalgic for me. I definitely need to grab a bag for myself!
Flavors: Brown Sugar, Butter, Marshmallow, Toasted Rice, Vanilla
