Raising my rating, I think I oversteeped it last time… This is delightfully fruity hot or iced.

I am so sad this is no longer available, I recently got this in a swap and I’m in love! It’s like a warm slice of cream pie but its a mix of roasty toasty coconut, cranberry, and blueberry.

I was a bit surprised by this one, it’s nice I’ll give it that but I wasn’t expecting to taste the papaya as much. Was hoping for a juicy pear. Not bad though!

Flavors: Fruity, Papaya, Stewed Fruits, Sugar, Vegetal

drank Caramel Brownie by T2

This was a really nice, unexpected treat! You definitely get the brownie and the gooey, buttery caramel. It also wasn’t too sweet. Other than a select few, I wasn’t too pleased with T2 in the past but I think it was just their tea bags I didn’t like. All the looseleaf ones I have had have been delightful.

Flavors: Brown Sugar, Caramel, Chocolate, Cocoa, Cream, Dark Chocolate, Malt, Milk, Toast

Yeah… I love Lupicia, at least what I’ve tried from them so far and this was just a miss. I had it hot last night and didn’t enjoy it and now I’m having it cold brewed and I think it made it worse. My mom likes it so I’m going to can the cold brew for her but… I don’t know. I think the combination of peppercorns and the fruit is what hit me weirdly, I love rosemary so it wasn’t that it just tasted like soap and not in a good way like the Bertie Botts Jelly Belly.

Flavors: Basil, Grass, Pepper, Soap

Ha ha I love this one! :P It’s very hit-or-miss for people in general.

I know, I’m sorry! Usually we have similar tastes but maybe I brewed it wrong, I have to try it again later.

Ha ha don’t be sorry! It’s not a bad thing that people have different tastes. :P

drank Gin & Tonic by DAVIDsTEA

This was definitely a win for me, it’s bold and herbaceous with a hint of spice on the back end. I think it’s perfect for non-drinkers like me that still wanna be included in the party.

Flavors: Berry, Fennel, Ginger, Honey, Licorice

Preparation
165 °F / 73 °C 4 min, 30 sec

I was interested in trying this one, but never ordered because the Valentine’s stuff I was interested in all sold out. And now it looks like this isn’t on the website anymore, harrumph. :P

I know! I wanted to get more because I really enjoyed it but when you put it in the search bar it only comes in the subscription box :( Super sad about it, I thought it was really nice for an after-dinner treat.

Honestly, this one was pretty good but it had too much cream base for my taste. I’ve never had DT’s Cream Earl Grey blend so I can’t compare them but I was hoping for more rose.

Flavors: Alcohol, Cream, Rose, Sugar, Sweet

Preparation
Boiling 3 min, 30 sec

Ooh I love rose teas.

Cameron B.

Personally I’m not a fan of their Cream of Earl Grey, to me it tastes like a vanilla-flavored Chapstick… XD

@CameronB. Yes, that’s kinda what I got from it too

My favorite breakfast tea as a builders brew with sugar substitute, my mother drank this on me while I was walking Buddy so I’m a bit sad because it was the last before it was sipped down so I have to grab more.

Profile

Bio

My name is Gabriella but everyone calls me Gabby! I am a 20-year-old college student living in NY, majoring in History and Elementary Education. In my spare time, I post reviews and little pieces of writing on my blog, read books, play video games, write poetry, and love to cuddle up with my two-year-old hound dog Buddy.
I have interesting tea preferences, to say the least:
Definitely a mood drinker, and I tend to change my preferences often, if I have a bad experience with a specific flavor or tea type I end up avoiding it for a while, then dive back in later. I also prefer my teas plain but will sometimes make lattes.

Flavor Preferences:

Fruit: mainly melon, berry, and apple flavors are my favorites. I’m allergic to pineapple, passionfruit, and kiwi.
Dessert: Almost all flavors dessert-wise are welcome I especially love warm and comforting flavors like caramels, chocolates, cookies/biscuits, crumbles, and muffin.
Floral: I prefer violets, lavender, roses, and mallow flowers. Open to all florals, allergic to dandelions.
Spices: I love lightly spiced blends but some like the infamous Hot Cinnamon Spice is too much for me.
Herbs: My favorites are mint, rosemary, sage, thyme, and sometimes basil.
Favorite Companies:
Harney and Sons
Simpson and Vail
White 2 Tea
Plum Deluxe
Trader Nicks
Friday Afternoon

Tea Rating Guide:
90-100: Top tier/ have to have them!
80-89: Really enjoyed it/ collection staple
70-79: Good, probably won’t drink it too often
60-69: I won’t refuse if offered
50-59: It’s okay
40-49: Probably dumped or handed to my Mom
00-39: No, just no

I love doing swaps and if you’re interested in anything in my cupboard let me know!
