326 Tasting Notes
I seem to have come down with a nasty cold, which means teas that wouldn’t necessarily be my first pick (but at least I can get through anything I have with licorice). I found myself at school this afternoon and needed a throat soothing pick me up, so I went with this. Honey has never been my favourite, and lemon has to be done well so I didn’t have high expectations.
Overall this was okay (take that with a grain of salt; I can’t really taste anything right now). The lemon was very lemony. It tasted like the chicken breast my boyfriend basted in lemon juice the other day. Not strictly unpleasant, but perhaps a little intense and acidic. Didn’t really get the honey at all. Wouldn’t buy again unless it was the best option around for a sore throat.
Flavors: Lemon
This one basically begs to be tried as a latte so I had to give it a go. I found that it really brought out the feeling of eating pumpkin pie (and the milk kind of gave it a covered in whipped cream vibe that I doubt anyone would complain about). This would make for a great after dinner drink on Thanksgiving.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Nutmeg, Pastries, Pumpkin
So it turns out a friend of mine bought 100g of this right before it was discontinued thinking it was a different tea. She didn’t like it so it’s made its way to my cupboard! I decided to give it a go iced. Unfortunately I then forgot about it, so it ended up steeping a lot longer than I had intended, but no bitterness so no harm done. The worst thing that seems to have happened is that it is VERY sweet, but not bad.
Overall having it cold seems to bring out the chili. It’s still not spicy if you’re used to spicy, but it has a kick to it which I really enjoy. Then the juicy ripe mango comes in along with…melon? Honeydew or cantaloupe, and very juicy. I do really enjoy thing one. Fresh, crisp, juicy, and some of my favourite flavours. Awesome!
Flavors: Mango, Melon, Spicy
I do enjoy this one, though I find the smell a little off putting. Soft, creamy toffee and sea salt, what’s not to love? I was hesitant to try this one because of the coconut, but it really doesn’t stand out. I do find the tea its self makes it a little dry, like dried grape branches, but that’s not strictly unpleasant. This will likely warm up some chilly fall mornings in the near future.
Flavors: Salt, Toffee, Wood
Oh wow, this is fruity. Fruitier than I was expecting to be honest. Predominantly VERY juicy cantaloupe (a favourite of mine), but there’s also peach and a hint of grape (both very juicy as well). There’s a hint of floral elements as well, but considerably in the background.
I will note that I completely ignored the brewing instructions, fearing 96 degree water would burn the green tea in it. Probably a good move as even 4 minutes at 85 brought out the slightest hint of bitterness (barely noticeable, but I might go for 3 or 3.5 minutes next time).
Overall a rather nice tea. I do love the cantaloupe. I might prefer this as just a green tea; the black is a little heavy for the fruit. Will give it a go iced as well to see how it fairs.
Flavors: Cantaloupe, Floral, Grapes, Peach

At long last, Pumpkin Chai. It was out last year when I got into tea but I didn’t get around to trying it despite the hype. I have to admit, this is pretty good, though pumpkin has never been my thing. It tastes exactly like pumpkin pie, with all the usual spices (cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg). Looking forward to trying this as a latte (maybe with some whipped cream ;) ). If you’re a pumpkin pie lover you should definitely give it a go!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Creamy, Nutmeg, Pumpkin
Preparation
I don’t know why, but this is really tasting like popcorn with LOTS of salt and pepper tonight. No idea why, though it’s not strictly a bad thing. Still a light citrus note, but otherwise not at all like the last time I had it.
Flavors: Citrus, Pepper, Popcorn, Salt
Preparation
I thought I would prefer this tea iced, but after trying it it would seem that’s not the case. The flavours don’t seem to blend as well iced. The tartness is more obviously hibiscus and the whole thing just seems a little off. I’m not sure if this would change if you poured the hot tea over ice rather than doing a cold brew, but I’ll finish off what I bought by it hot.
Flavors: Apple, Hibiscus
This is probably my favourite of the fall collection so far. It absolutely tastes like muffins so there’s no disappointment in that respect. Nice light cranberry flavour supporting lovely orange notes. If I manage to sip down some of my cupboard I might pick some of this up towards the end off fall.
Flavors: Cranberry, Orange, Pastries
