Oh wow, this is fruity. Fruitier than I was expecting to be honest. Predominantly VERY juicy cantaloupe (a favourite of mine), but there’s also peach and a hint of grape (both very juicy as well). There’s a hint of floral elements as well, but considerably in the background.
I will note that I completely ignored the brewing instructions, fearing 96 degree water would burn the green tea in it. Probably a good move as even 4 minutes at 85 brought out the slightest hint of bitterness (barely noticeable, but I might go for 3 or 3.5 minutes next time).
Overall a rather nice tea. I do love the cantaloupe. I might prefer this as just a green tea; the black is a little heavy for the fruit. Will give it a go iced as well to see how it fairs.
