I enjoyed this tea quite a bit. The taste is mostly ginger with a touch of lemon, but there was no heat from the ginger to push this to the “medicinal” side of herbal teas. That said, I’m tempted to buy a box of this to keep on hand in case of colds/sickness. With a touch of honey I think this would be a comforting cup for an itchy throat or other general yuckiness.

This is such a great fall tea. The cranberry and almond flavors are fantastic, and it is well blended. I like that even though this is a heavily flavored tea it still manages to have a lightness about it. Although I chose this as my morning tea I think it would be absolute perfection in the afternoon with a biscotti. Yep… I’m going to have to give that a try.

I love this one. As you say, perfect Autumn tea.

Hello, everyone! I’ve been away from Steepster because I quit drinking tea for a bit. Something with the change of seasons really messed up my sleep schedule, so I cut caffeine out altogether. But now that I’m no longer doing the insomniac shuffle I’m happily back to my lovely cuppas. Yay!

This is a nice morning mint tea. It has enough of a kick to get me going, but I also find the mint soothing. The smokiness is pleasing and perfect for this time of year. I do think this has lost some of its flavor, but it’s been almost a year since I bought it. There’s only a tiny bit left, so I’ll try to use it up this week.

Glad you’re back! :)

Thanks!

Incredibly well! I add them directly to my flowerbeds, and my lilies are HUGE. :) For my vegetable garden I add the leaves to my compost pile.

I definitely need a kick to get me going this morning, and this tea proved to be up to the task. Sweetened it with a bit of honey. I also made a cup for my daughter to enjoy on her bus ride to school. She sent me a text thanking me for buying awesome tea. :)

A quiet Sunday afternoon, nice cool weather, and a cup of EGC. I am in my glory. Still far and away my favorite Earl Grey. I love the vanilla in this tea.

mrs.stenhouse12

This is a very delicious EGC, I must agree :)

Cool weather? Jealous!

Having this one again today. The oolong, blueberry, nutmeg combination is equally soothing and delicious. Drinking this also makes me want to make blueberry muffins with a brown sugar crumb topping. Yeah, that needs to happen.

Drama, drama, drama. School hasn’t even started yet (we have one more week), and already there’s been tears from my daughter who’s entering eighth grade. She and her friends are working it out, but I have to say this is the part of school I enjoy the least. Junior high girls trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in is the stuff of nightmares. I remember being there myself, but it’s just as tough to watch your kid navigate the junior high years! All of that to say I’m drinking this tea to give myself a little break before going to see how my daughter and her friends are fairing. As much as possible I’d like them to work it out on their own.

I’m liking this chai more and more. It’s wonderfully sweet and spicy, and while there is chocolate it blends with the tea very well. This works for me since I’m not a big chocolate tea fan. I hope Wegman’s keeps this version of this tea for awhile. I like it much more than their previous version. The spice is much more noticeable now, and there seems to be more of the base tea. That, along with the chunks of chocolate, makes this one a keeper.

Maybe I’ll resteep the leaves before wading back into the fray… :)

oof…. our eldest just finished this nonsense and our daughter and son are both starting into it. i keep wondering if i was this crazed in high school? i don’t think so, but hindsight can be fuzzy and remembered differently that what was.

Veronica

I think all of the technology has added to the problem. I had to convince my daughter to stop texting and actually call her friend. A lot of their argument began over a miscommunication while they were rapid fire texting. It’s second nature to them, so it’s difficult to get them to understand that there are much better ways to work out a problem.

Fjellrev

Aww, I hope everything works out with your daughter. Both junior high and high school aren’t very good times, for sure.

Backlogging. Another tea from my laundry folding, Doctor Who watching, night last night. (Side note: I am almost through Season One (2005) and I have to say I’m really starting to like the show. I’m limiting myself to two shows a day, but it’s getting hard to not give in and have a marathon tv day.)

The tea. It was like drinking a minty marshmallow, but it wasn’t over the top sweet. I did find myself wishing that I could taste the base tea, but it was still highly enjoyable. I’m finding this a great summer to fall transition tea though I couldn’t tell you why. I want to say it’s because this is a great curl up on the couch with a blanket and a book tea, but for me that’s all tea. At any rate, as the weather cools I can see this one ending up in my mug more often.

Fuzzy_Peachkin

Doctor Who is sucking you in! Yay!

Veronica

It is! For the first three or four episodes I was very meh about it, but now I’m really enjoying it. I think I might have a Doctor Who marathon on my kid’s first day of school. :)

TeaLady441

I was the same way. It was just… awful? :P No, cheesy is the right word. But it got better AND grew on me. Now, I’m addicted. And it gets better with each season!

Veronica

Cheesy is the right word. It’s kind of funny how it slowly grows on you until you’re hooked. At least that’s what appears to be happening to me. :)

Fuzzy_Peachkin

I grew up watching it and liking it! My Dad and older brother used to watch it all the time! The corniness is definitely part of the appeal! :-)

Backlogging. I made this last night, but I was folding laundry and forgot about it. It ended up steeping for about 10 minutes, so I was expecting a bitter mess. What I ended up with was an ah-mazing cuppa. The oolong gave a peachy flavor at the beginning of the sip and was followed by the blueberry and nutmeg. So good. I’m really enjoying nutmeg in my tea at the moment, and Design a Tea does a nice job blending it into several of their signature blends.

This has been my tea of the morning for the past two days. I’m starting to get into an autumn frame of mind, so a cranberry/almond tea sounded good. H&S did an excellent job with this blend. It’s sweet from the almond with just enough cranberry tartness to keep things interesting. Really, really good.

Josie Jade

I love this one! I’m tempted to buy a tin with Harney’s free shipping deal today, even though my cupboard is so full!

Veronica

I’m so mad I missed their free shipping offer. I need to check my email more often. :/
