Another winner from my swap with Cameron! It was sweet, cookie-like, had a touch of apricot fruitiness, and I could see it being a staple!

Love, love, love this blend! I tried this as a stovetop chai ( first attempt) and it was incredible. It was sweet, spicy, and cozy. I used 2 cups of water and 2 cups of milk with 3 table spoons of the chai blend and 2 tablespoons of Splenda/ sugar

Flavors: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Malt, Spicy, Sweet

Preparation
Boiling 5 min, 0 sec 4 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

Sounds yummy! I remember liking this one too when I tried it in the advent a couple of years ago.

Sipped this one down! I remember liking this blend more than I did. It didn’t give me the mint or cocoa I wanted. It was a little better as a latte but not something I’d repurchase.

Flavors: Astringent, Cocoa, Mint, Vanilla

Preparation
195 °F / 90 °C 4 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

Not a favorite, but I tried it in the SVTTB and finished the last two cups worth ( I made a pot). I didn’t get caramel or shortbread from it, It was like a cranberry twist on Forever Nuts that didn’t work.

Flavors: Apple, Berry, Bitter, Cranberry, Nuts

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more 2 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

A really nice blend, it’s lightly sweet, nutty, and has a rich cocoa flavor. I’m super sad that this is no longer available. It’s one I tried in the SVTTB.

Flavors: Chocolate, Cocoa, Cream, Nutty, Vanilla

Preparation
Boiling 3 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

I have some of these left, I’ll set them aside for you!

This blend is another from my swap with Cameron. While I have loved everything else I’ve tried from Lupicia it’s not for me. I typically like nutty and roasty flavors but this blend reminded me of burnt cookies and while that may be someone else’s thing it’s not necessarily mine.

Flavors: Astringent, Burnt, Burnt Sugar, Nutty, Vanilla

Preparation
Boiling 3 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

Ha ha, well you can’t love them all! XD

My first chicory blend, it’s lightly sweet, spicy, warm, and cozy. It mostly tastes like a Cinnabon mini roll dunked in a bit of coffee enjoyed while watching Halloweentown. All the fall vibes, all the coziness. I’m so sad it’s a limited edition I have to try to grab more.

Flavors: Cake, Chicory, Cinnamon, Cookie, Vanilla

Preparation
Boiling 1 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

Have you tried any of the Teecino chicory “teas”? I am loving them, and I don’t even like coffee, but this might sway me.

thereadersteacup

I haven’t but I’d love to!

Bio

My name is Gabriella but everyone calls me Gabby! I am a 20-year-old college student living in NY, majoring in History and Elementary Education. In my spare time, I post reviews and little pieces of writing on my blog, read books, play video games, write poetry, and love to cuddle up with my two-year-old hound dog Buddy.
I have interesting tea preferences, to say the least:
Definitely a mood drinker, and I tend to change my preferences often, if I have a bad experience with a specific flavor or tea type I end up avoiding it for a while, then dive back in later. I also prefer my teas plain but will sometimes make lattes.

Flavor Preferences:

Fruit: mainly melon, berry, and apple flavors are my favorites. I’m allergic to pineapple, passionfruit, and kiwi.
Dessert: Almost all flavors dessert-wise are welcome I especially love warm and comforting flavors like caramels, chocolates, cookies/biscuits, crumbles, and muffin.
Floral: I prefer violets, lavender, roses, and mallow flowers. Open to all florals, allergic to dandelions.
Spices: I love lightly spiced blends but some like the infamous Hot Cinnamon Spice is too much for me.
Herbs: My favorites are mint, rosemary, sage, thyme, and sometimes basil.
Favorite Companies:
Harney and Sons
Simpson and Vail
White 2 Tea
Plum Deluxe
Trader Nicks
Friday Afternoon

60-69: I won’t refuse if offered
50-59: It’s okay
40-49: Probably dumped or handed to my Mom
00-39: No, just no

I love doing swaps and if you’re interested in anything in my cupboard let me know!
