So apparently I had hated Oh Canada by David’s Tea because it smelled and tasted like cigars to me. I think its the rooibos that smells like cigars because this one has the scent of it also. Except, I don’t taste cigars when I drink this so it gets an A+. Malty taste with a hint of coconut. Very creamy. Delicious dessert tea. I’m falling in love with Butiki Teas.

Overleafed a tiny bit hoping to get more of the coconut taste, but I’m actually getting less than before? Can’t smell it as much, either. But I’m having a crash day today (fibro) so I’m just completely blah and it’s probably not the best time to rate teas. This was still good, even if it wasn’t as coconutty as I’d hoped.

This tea smells great! It smells very strong of coconut.

You can definitely taste the coconut when you sip this. It was very smooth. The coconut is not overpowering, and you can still taste the rooibos. I thought the tea tasted kind of naturally sweet (just a hint of sweetness), but if I were to make this again, I might add a small amount of honey. I feel like this might bring out the coconut flavor even more.

I had this tea after dinner, and it really hit the spot!

I had a rough morning at physical therapy, so I brewed this up hoping it will loosen some things up in my shoulder and alleviate some of the pain. This is absolutely delicious. The coconut is nice and creamy, natural-tasting and not artificial. The tea is wonderful. Hopefully it will bring down any inflammation in my shoulder.

This was another sample sent by BrewTEAlly sweet that I really wanted to try. Sadly, it missed the mark for me. Though it was a delicious rooibos tea, I didn’t get much coconut cream pie out of it. I could taste a hint of coconut, but I am not a huge fan of rooibos so I like the flavour to be quite strong. I made a Butiki order after I drank this and decided to go with mango lassi instead of this one.

Thank you MissB! I was excited when MissB included this little surprise in my order last month because Coconut Cream Pie is my favorite pie. I don’t eat it very often because my husband does not like coconut and I would end up eating the whole pie and be in a sugar comma for days. I liked it enough that I purchased more from BrewTeally

Because this lacks all the artificial ingredients DAVIDs Birthday Cake has, I secretly wanted my son to like this more but, he does not. Maybe he does not love coconut as much as I do. That’s okay, I don’t have to share. I live in Texas and hot tea drinking season is almost over and this is wonderful as an iced latte. It has an orange cream color when you add milk and taste creamy and coconuty .

Potent stuff! The first time I tried this I used way too much rooibos for the amount of water, so here’s my second go.

The coconut is definitely there, but not as strongly as I had imagined. It smooths out the strong woodsy rooibos base for sure. Coconut cream pie isn’t the first thing that comes to mind while drinking it, but I must say it isn’t too shabby. Resteep time.

MMMM this tea smells really good… Not super amount of coconut but you still get whiffs of it, but you can smell the rooibos and something else that makes it very smooth or creamy smelling.

I steeped it and tasted it, for me it was a bit too woodsy ( the rooibos) so I sweetened it just a bit. I could taste the coconut at the end just a bit and my mouth had a creamy fullness in it. This is pretty goood!
Thanks so much for sending us samples really fun to taste new teas!

I love a good rooibos. This is very good. It works as a delicious red tea with a smooth vanilly flavor but I’m not sure why I’m not getting much of a “coconut cream pie” taste here. Maybe because a rooibos tea naturally tastes like that to me, or maybe because my sample had mostly rooibos and was missing the other good stuff to give it that coconut pie flavor. (It looked like plain rooibos in the package to me.) It may be because there is more tea out of the infuser than in it, so it just keeps steeping. (Though that is no fault of the tea, just my infuser.) Theories, theories. But if you like red tea, this is one to try anyway!
