Sipdown (249)
“Literal shits and farts” wasn’t quite what I got, unlike Roswell Strange. However, I didn’t like it. Cinnamon and woody rooibos and just not good. Also, I might have tossed my cannabis powder into this and it covered it up the least. So cinnamon, woody rooibos, and a touch of weed. Bad. Bad all around. But I finished it because the powder is expensive. At least I am calm now. Nonetheless, thank you Roswell Strange for sharing and giving me the chance to try something new!

I shared this with multiple people now and while most of us were fairly indifferent/not overly impressed with this one, Courtney actually enjoyed it. Since I am preparing a package to send to her anyways, I decided to give this another try and pass the rest along to someone who might appreciate it more than I do.
This last cup is leathery and with a touch of malt. Honestly there is nothing wrong with it but I don’t find it very interesting either. I just have other teas I would reach for first and if I were to drink this it would just be to finish it off.

This is a floral tea. Not overly offensive but also not my favourite. I broke it out because it’s one of the teas put into my sipdown box from early 2018. I never reached for it because (1) it came with a cocktail recipe and I always felt like I should try it as a cocktail but don’t really drink so I never did and (2) the ingredients don’t really call to me. So now that I’m drinking it, it’s fine but not for me so into the swap box it goes. Let me know if anyone has any interest for the little bit remaining…

This is better as a tea lemonade also. Hot it has a great initial burn from the turmeric or ginger. It hits you right at the back of the throat but the rest of the tea falls flat and is somehow bland. It should be fruity or sweet but it just sort of is…

This tea was best as a tea lemonade. Hot it has a slight twang from the citrus oil and the green base comes through a touch more. The marshmallow is a nice touch to lighten things up while simultaneously sweetening the tea. But that twang brings it all down for me.
Ginger custard sounds interesting. But for me, crème brûlée is all about that crispy burnt sugar top! Which is kind of hard to replicate in tea form… :P
My Midterms concluded last week luckily. Good luck on your Midterm!
Ou! It would be cool if a tea somehow could incorporate a burnt sugar-like topping?! That is an awesome idea. I might end up ordering this one since I do LOVE ginger
interesting one
Update, I did end up ordering it! So excited to try it since I LOVE ginger
I hope you like it!
Thank you! :)
