I was intrigued by this tea because white peony petals and marzipan and wow so many things going on in one tea I just //had// to try it!

Opening up the package and wow. Overwhelmed by the fruity/sweet/candy-like smells.
Brewing… oh. It smells like medicine. I don’t know what to expect from it now…
Tasting it… oh oh no. Now this is just a bit too sweet for me. I’m sure it’s good to some people! But this is just too much and it’s leaving a weird sweet aftertaste in my mouth.

I was kinda disappointed with this tea? Usually the sweet teas lose some flavour when you steep, but this just got stronger. I was so excited for this tea, but sometimes less is more. I really want to love this tea, but I’m sorry, I took two sips and I can’t finish.

Five minutes later and the aftertaste is still there. I’ll try this tea again later on. Maybe balance out the sweet with a bit of milk? Just not tonight.

Oh whoa. This tea has a very almond extract smell to it.
I love almonds, not the biggest fan of almond flavoured things. Why did I ask for this tea from shmiracles? BECAUSE IT SOUNDED YUMMY.
I’m smelling it from the pot right now and it’s very almondy! And I’m actually kinda excited for this tea!! It smells just like almond biscotti yuuuummmm.
Definitely can see the wee oil drops from the almond slivers floating at the top of my tea which gives it a bit of a slippery feel.
I’ve had almond tea once or twice before, but I think this just /has/ to be my favourite out of them all :)

When I opened the package, it smelled like chocolate and dust and antiques and good and my friend smelled it and she said it smelled like Rome. Well good since Rome and Florence are in the same country!
But I’m drinking this tea right now, and I’ve never really loved the concept of chocolate in teas, but so far over the past day or so, I’ve had more chocolate-y teas and they’re all pretty good!

Dry, this smells like peppermint :) Not super strong, but like tea and peppermint and then I saw the candy cane sprinkles and that’s when I just died. THIS TEA IS JUST SO CUTE OKAY.
Steeping and it’m getting more of a peppermint candy type of thing, which I love! The black tea that they used here is really nice. Sipping the tea, the peppermint hits your tastebuds first, and then you taste the black tea, and then there’s a bit of a peppermint aftertaste! Super good. 11/10 would recommend :)

Smells like almonds with sweet undertones? I don’t even know. The sent right from the package is just very inviting :)
Brewing it SMELLS LIKE TEA. WHO KNEW. With the amount of sleep I got last night, I just expect all my teas to turn into the food that it smells like.
Drinking it, the almond flavour sorta gets lost within the tea. Good! But a wee bit more almond would be nice :)

edit: now that I’m nearing the end of my cup, I’m tasting a bit more almond!

I went through 2 liters of tea tonight oh my gosh there is nothing wrong with me. There is absolutely nothing wrong with just sitting at the kitchen table with the kettle within arms reach and your entire tea collection just sitting there waiting to be drank.
Definitely been working on philosophy and studying for the THREE midterms I have next week. Ahh well. Lots of tea will be consumed this weekend. Looks like I’ve got my own one-person tea parties!

I usually don’t go for Lipton when I choose my teas, but the wonderful shmiracles sent me some in our swap!
Compared to the other chai’s that I’ve had, this one is //decent//. I like my chai with a small dash of milk and sugar. Ran out of sugar so honey it is! With a bit of tweaking, I got the chai that I wanted :)

Got this from Shmiracles mainly because I don’t own any teas by Davids aaand NOW I DO.
First tea from DavidsTea and WOW IT SMELLS GOOD. Not *super appley, more subtle since you can definitely smell the white.
Wowy wow wow this is good. Tea is just great okay. I can legit just live off of tea okay.

Okay so pretty much I was just super crazy excited because Shmiracles and I did a tea swap and THIS WAS A SURPRISE BECAUSE SPARKLES. Wow I love her okay.
Opening the package, I could defnitely take the sweeter notes, with hidden bits of tea. But when you brew it, it flips. More tea, less sweet, bUT STILL GOOD.
I love the sparkles and sprinkles marshmallows and THIS TEA THO.
I really like this tea okay. I actually would add more marshmallows because I can hahahh IT WAS REALLY GOOD OKAY.
So thank you, Shmiracles, for sending me this tea. I’ve got a whole lot more to go but WOW WHAT A WAY TO START OFF.

The kettle is now living in my room because annoying group projects give me headaches and tea helps me relieve headaches. Foxtrot to the rescue!
Will be drinking a whole lot of this tonight.
