This has got to be the oldest tea in my collection… to the point that the packaging still says Fili lol.

Prepared like a chai; small amount of agave and a touch of milk

I don’t taste a difference between this and the Chilli Chai. Prepared the same way.

It’s a chai. Don’t really taste much of the chili?

I did add some agave and a tough of oat milk, how I typically drink my chai.

A friend if mine reached out a few months ago to see if I can put together another tea box for her. Obviously I said yes! Work has been crazy and I finally had time today to get a package together for her. This tea box was a great way to get eyes on my collection to see which ones I could just drink/remove from my collection.

This tea is delicious, gives me a bit of a smoky taste and I love it. Bit of a darker amber color, mellow and smooth body.

Once I get my stash down, I’ll probs get more of this in the future.

Stuck at home for the next week… figured I’d go through my teas while I clean/organize the house!

Day 3 of Quarantine… or should I say QuaranTEAn.

Shut down the restaurant on Friday, locked everything up and now it’s the waiting game….

I’m terrible at logging teas…

Anyway, my boyfriend and I went to Tampa yesterday to do literally ONE thing. We had to drive an hour for something that took 20 minutes and he wanted to go home. I told him that we should swing by the Oxford Exchange to get coffee or tea to at least make our Tampa trip worth it!

We ended up spending almost 2 hours at OE, him with coffee and me with tea, and catching up with one of our best friends who lives out in the area! I had just a matcha latte but ended up taking 2oz of their Jasmine home. Surprisingly enough, the Tebella at OE only has the Jasmine Silver Needle on their tea menu, no green Jasmine! Jasmine is my absolute fave and I can never go wrong with it!

At first I was a bit skeptical of this tea in particular because the more I smell it, the more artificial it seemed. I ended up steeping it at 160* for about 5 min and all the artificial flavor that I initially smelled went away! It’s a beautiful Jasmine tea, very delicate with what you’d expect a white tea to taste like. Does have more of a flavor compared to other Jasmine White Teas I had.

Massive cleaning.laundry day today. I feel like green tea always pairs perfectly with getting stuff done, I’ve been so productive today!

Was cleaning out my cubby at work and found this stashed at the back! Def forgot that I brought some teabags with me to work. I also found a small bag od David’s Silk Dragon Jasmine in the bottom of my drawer hahaha

This tea tastes like a traditional straight green tea. Actually pretty good, it isn’t overwhelmingly grassy, but still has a great green tea flavor to it!

Sidenote: I cleaned out my desk, cubby, drawers, and past my keys to my backfill. I’ve been at the Grand for the past 3.5 years and now it’s off to go to the Boardwalk! I start at my new location tomorrow… excited, but nervous. I literally don’t know anyone over there so it’ll be nice to start fresh.
