2987 Tasting Notes
Another sipdown, soon I will be able to close my non-caffeinated drawer. :P
I find the raspberry quite strong in this cup because there were some small raspberry bits at the bottom of the bag that seemed to have steeped into the brew.
The honeybush is quite fragrant with notes of honey, wood, brown sugar, and molasses.
Unlike previous cups, I can taste the almond here. It tastes more like marzipan or an almond dessert than plain almonds, though.
Flavors: Almond, Fruity, Honey, Marzipan, Molasses, Raspberry
I bought this for myself because I felt like a sweetened drink. I don’t like this flavour as much as the unsweetened lemon black tea. I found the pomegranate to have a good strong black base, but the pomegranate flavour was more like dried prunes or the fig part of fig newtons. I like fig newtons, but not in tea. I’ve had fresh pomegranate juice before and I didn’t find this to be accurate.
Flavors: Dried Fruit, Fig, Plum
Preparation
It’s plain, it’s boring, it’s on a grocery store shelf near you: Lipton Earl Grey
I think I took this from a hotel room or something. I didn’t buy it/seek it out. Anyway, with a lot of milk and some sweetener this is a drinkable cup.
Flavors: Bergamot, Bitter, Citrus, Tannic
