630 Tasting Notes
This is very very chocolatey with a roasted note that must be the hazelnut coming through. It is tasty, but I have to admit, chocolate teas aren’t quite my thing most of the time. I always find myself then seeking out the real thing…which could be seen as awesome or awful, depending on how you look at it.
Preparation
This is tasty, but I found that one sample pack didn’t make a full pitcher cold steeped, like most of the other herbal blends I cold steep. However, it did have a juiciness that very much resembles fresh watermelon. I would consider repurchasing even if just to give it a go with the right amount of tea.
Preparation
I enjoyed this a lot – it definitely smells roasted, and almost has a hint of smoke. I am not a huge fan of smokey tasting teas, but this was just enough. It was bready and delicious, and makes me want to try out others of its type.
Preparation
I normally hate ginger…but this tea was delicious. I was shocked at how flavorful it is, as my sample was on the small side for what I usually use. I normally add a hair more than a tsp per cup. There was absolutely no need for it this time. Big strawberry flavor with a little something extra with the ginger. I imagine it is delicious hot and iced, which is my favorite.
Preparation
This is really, really good. The vanilla is very naturally sweet and tastes a lot more “real” than most vanilla black teas I have had. It masquerades as dessert if you add a little milk to make it even creamier.
Preparation
This is very juicy when prepared hot, and tastes like most of the fruit teas with hibiscus bases, but very different at the same time. I have never had dragonfruit before, so I assume that is what I am tasting. I like it, I think, it is something different. But it doesn’t beat raspberry for me, or other berries (as I would liken this blend to a berry blend), so I wouldn’t purchase.
Preparation
This one definitely has the sourness of the rhubarb. In fact, I am not sure I taste much strawberry. I think this flavor pairing might be best saved for pies and crumbles…but if you love rhubarb, this one is for you.
Preparation
This one is awesome and weird at the same time. I have never had a kiwi tea, but this one actually manages to do it well. I really do taste kiwi. And I love kiwi. :-)
I enjoyed it both hot and iced.
