This stuff is amazing – I brewed it hot and chilled it to make iced tea and was surprised to find not a single hint of bitterness. I am usually careful not to oversteep, but most green that sits seems to take on just a hair of bitterness or astringency at least…but not this. It is a bit tart and juicy but really doesn’t taste artificial.

This is really light and green tasting, which surprised me. It steeped twice comfortably, and had pretty full flavor each time. I would not do one long steep as it seems to be rather astringent, even with shorter steeps, and I do not like much astringency. It was pretty good, but I don’t think I would buy this for myself because I like thicker (but not astringent) tasting blacks and oolongs.

Tasty, but I normally prefer to cold brew and this would have been weak if I did. Juicy and a bit tart…but overall kind of underwhelming compared to what else is out there. Very generic berry flavor.

This is really delicious – it is crisp, and almost doesn’t taste like oolong to me. It is very sweet, and smells sweet dry too. Once steeped it has a floral aspect, and the first steep tastes a little fruity. I got three steeps, and probably could have done more, but I tend to not last much longer than that before wanting to move on.

Cold steeping this was a mistake. I did so the way I do most teas, and it was tasty enough…but I didn’t really get raspberry and honey. I got more of a fruity whisp with black tea taste. And no honey. Hm. Perhaps hot this is good, but I used up the sample cold steeping it because with fruity flavors it usually does great things…but not this time apparently.

This one is very sweet and perfect for my early morning wake up. It had just a hair of astringency but not enough that I minded. It was light enough to be good for a warm morning, but had a bit of toasty going on to make it good for cool mornings as well. Handy, because we have had both here in PA over the last couple days.

This was pretty good. I was concerned it would be super artificial tasting, but was pleasantly surprised. The lemon isn’t sharp at all and the natural rooibos sweetness works well with it. That said, I don’t adore it, as this isn’t the type of tea I normally go for. Always good to try samples given the opportunity, though.

This is really really good. I taught my first lesson today for student teaching, a social studies lesson. Went really well overall, and only made a couple very minor mistakes out of nerves. But it meant that in the morning (and this whole week) I am waking up extra early (I leave at 6:40am) to rehearse my lesson and such, and this is perfect to wake me up. It is toasty and a bit fruity and earthy and super yum. I steeped it a second time to take in the car with me.

This was pretty good – I brewed it four times, and it held strong each time. First steep was a minute, and I added a minute on each resteep. I really like that about the high quality teas – they might be a hair pricier per cup…until you do the math on the resteeps. This started out being very toasty and fruity, but got less and less fruity for me with each resteep. Next time, I will call it quits after 3.

Now a certified teacher, beginning my first year in third grade this fall. I have been involved in the tea world about 5 years now. In that time, I have learned so much, and am hoping to learn even more by joining the steepster community.

In my non-tea times, I am usually watching netflix while writing lesson plans, cuddling my two kitties, or trying to find new things to do in a town that is sometimes a bit limited!
