I received a sample of this in a recent swap with greenteafairy and was excited to try it out with breakfast this morning! I think I over-steeped it by a minute or two in the bustle of getting ready for work, but thankfully the base didn’t go bitter or astringent. I didn’t pick up on any specific fruits, but there was a nice sweet fruity flavor going on that I quite enjoyed. Not a standout for me, but happy I got to sample it! One of these days I’m going to invest in some French tea and it’s nice to be able to find out ahead of time which ones I really love and which ones aren’t worth paying the crazy shipping fees for.

Flavors: Fruity, Smooth, Sweet

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 5 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 12 OZ / 354 ML

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” ~ C.S. Lewis

I was introduced to loose leaf tea by a roommate in 2012, but it wasn’t until I stumbled upon Steepster in 2014 that I discovered a world of tea that went beyond Teavana and the grocery store.

My tastes continue to evolve, but black tea is currently my favorite. I am especially drawn to strong, malty breakfast blends to wake me up in the morning and flavored dessert teas to sip throughout the day.

Just about everything in my cupboard is available to swap, so feel free to ask!
