From DAVIDsTEA

Indulge

This ultra-rare oolong from the Wuyi Mountains of China is velvety smooth and lightly creamy, with a subtle hint of orchid. It’s said that it came about when the moon fell in love with a comet. The comet passed her by, as comets will do. The moon cried milky tears, which chilled the tea fields, withering the leaves and giving them a delicate creaminess. It’s been a rare luxury ever since.

Ingredients: Chinese oolong tea from the Fujian province, natural flavouring.

This is a Chinese Oolong tea and it is pure and simple with a definite milky taste, it is refreshing with a subtle sweetness.

Dee-licious! After a long phase of drinking flavoured teas, there is nothing like going back to quality basics.

Fragrant and freshly vegetal in aroma, not overwhelmingly strong, with a sharp metallic tang at first that gradually turns into a pleasant creaminess; begins nostalgic then transforms into mmmmmmmmmm.

This tea is absolutely amazing, there is a lovely smooth oolong taste. It is special in the sense that it is very creamy and full and a very slight floral hint.

The oolong leaves expand beautifully in water, but be careful to not over steep it or burn the leaves. It is quite fragile and would be an absolute shame if it were to be ruined in such a way.

An actual creamy tea. I’ve heard many people rave of this tea. I’ve watched it steep beautifully, I just hadn’t tasted it for whatever reason. So, I finally did! It had a flavor of something I couldn’t completely put my finger on, but definitely familiar. It’s a totally creamy tea, the texture is sublime. Overall, I can definitely understand the raves! Great straight tea.

I love the flavours in this one. Buttery, nutty, creamy, hint of sweetness, and still fresh tasting! I can usually make 3 cups from one teaspoon. I love oolong teas for their ability to steep multiple times.

I love this tea. It’s great for work since I steep the same leaves throughout the day. Love that I continue to get great flavor from it and has a hearty taste that makes me sit up straight and hydrate. Buttery, milky, and smoothing flavors.

i have had only a small sample of this tea & that sample has left me yearning for it. i love how creamy it is. the creamy taste doesn’t distract but adds to the flavour. [i can’t seem to drag my rating bar over to the highest green smiley face, but if i could, that’s where it would be]

It smells a bit like sharp cheddar cheese, which I find… Unencouraging.

It’s got the taste of a typical greener rolled oolong (or the taste of the ones I’ve tried), with a light hint of cream. Not thick cream, just the stuff you buy for your coffee. Not getting too much sweetness. It’s interesting.

It settles into a thicker mouthfeel as you sip, and a bit of sweetness develops.

First steep: Two minutes.

Second Steep: Two and a half minutes. It’s sweeter, but less creamy. The steep instructions Davids provided read 4-7 minutes. That seemed a bit crazy, but I may have to consider it.

Lovely tea. One of the best from David’s. I steep all my teas quite a long time, but this one I also steep again and again as I would a traditional Chinese tea.

First milk oolong I’ve tried, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but I really enjoyed this.

It really does smell like cream. A slight fruit/floral note as well. Leaves are small “clusters.” A fun tea, and you could say it’s quite a novel-tea :-P (sorry). Quite a delicious taste, naturally sweet and milky. Hard to believe it’s not flavored (as some of the cheaper milk oolongs apparently are) but they say it’s not.
