This ultra-rare oolong from the Wuyi Mountains of China is velvety smooth and lightly creamy, with a subtle hint of orchid. It’s said that it came about when the moon fell in love with a comet. The comet passed her by, as comets will do. The moon cried milky tears, which chilled the tea fields, withering the leaves and giving them a delicate creaminess. It’s been a rare luxury ever since.

Ingredients: Chinese oolong tea from the Fujian province, natural flavouring.

I decided to try this to compare against the other milk oolong I have and I like both…they are so similar that I can’t tell much apart….what subtle differences could be from my brewing technique or ?!? I love them both! Yay

Gaadd, I love this tea! First of all, my favorite kind of tea is oolong simply because it offers the best of both worlds: the leafy-ness and herbal taste of green tea and the pungent strong flavor from black tea. But this oolong in particular: very smooth and soothing with wonderfully leafy/grassy tones!

I’ve received a few samples of this tea. I simply don’t rave about it in the same way as everyone else. I liked it…i tried it after finishing off a very nice oolong by Ten Ren so I think perhaps I wasn’t as wowed as everyone else. I found the tea cheesy in someways and in other ways reminded me of creamed spinach. I wouldn’t reorder.

Straight tea shouldn’t be this addictive. It has a very creamy flavor, and the smell is like that of theatre popcorn. It took a while for this specific oolong to grow on me.

I like this tea but it’s pricy so I have it once in a while for a treat. Definitely tastes like oolong, and it has a creamy scent both dry and when steeped. You get the kick of “creaminess” when you first drink it but then it kind of fades away.

Love this tea – the creamy flavour suppresses my urges for milk and sugar although I can see myself trying this in the future with a heavy spoonful of condensed milk.
