From DAVIDsTEA

How it tastes
Fresh, cool minty flavour and aroma

It’s love at first sip with this organic peppermint tea. Said to stimulate passion and creativity, our peppermint is also fair trade, for great taste and good karma. It’s a naturally fresh, cool and comforting herbal tisane. And though it may be totally caffeine-free, that doesn’t mean it won’t awaken your senses.

What makes it great
• Peppermint tea is a classic remedy for an upset tummy.
• The active ingredient in peppermint is menthol – said to be great for soothing the throat.

Ingredients
Organic peppermint leaves from Oregon and Washington State.

I got a sample of this in one of my online orders. I poured out the package into a filter only to realize theirs enough in the sample for at least 3 cups so I poured it into an empty tin. That being said my tummy wasn’t feeling well, I think due to a lack of food but it’s too late to eat, so I made this an went without sweeter or milk. I have Moroccan Mint from Teavana but it just doesn’t measure up to this! I always burn the Teavana one and it’s bitter and gross and I have to have honey (though I did get a decent cup last time), but not Peppermint Amour. It has a nice minty flavor that cools your throat and it’s not so vegetal that you need sweetener to make it palatable. Definitely a win on this one DT.

So amazingly, I have not rated this tea yet, even though it is my go-to when my stomach is angry or I have a splitting migraine. Today happens to be the upset stomach kind of day, not sure if I ate something nasty for lunch or what, but I feel miserable at work, and this only started after lunch…I am also out of gum and forgot my Tums, so I busted out this tea. I guess we will see if it works its magic today, it usually does pretty good. Blargh. It already seems to be helping a bit.

Oh, and this tea is basically mint mint mint in your face haha, it’s fresh and good, if you like peppermint. If you don’t, well, why are you drinking pure peppermint anyways? :P haha a good tea for when I’m feeling sick or want a caffeine break.

Haha! You’re right, this one will please any real peppermint lover…if you’re not, just stay away!

I’m a lazy butt and it’s almost bedtime so tea filters it is!
I just measured 2g of this into my filter and I’m just going to drink and drink until I steep all the flavour out :)
It’s a lovely tea. I seriously have no idea how to differentiate the peppermint teas I’ve had from different companies since peppermint just… tastes the same all around. I’ve only ever tasted peppermint tea or absolutely terrible peppermint tea. This is on the plain ol peppermint tea side so it’s good :)

Getting low on this one already. Mixed it with rooibos tonight. Not as strong but it pairs wonderfully with the rooibos. I am waiting on my second steep as I use it to get through my studies tonight.

I really enjoy this tea. I drink it alone, or mix it with other teas to add a minty flavour. I love that this tea does not taste like stale peppermint, which I find is quite common with peppermint teas. It’s fresh, and light! I have not tried it cold (for some reason that does not appeal to me). But I have combined it with Cocoa Canela for a mint hot chocolate drink (So Good!)… I’ve drank it straight, with milk, agave, honey, its good with anything!

Simple, and it works. Just straight-up peppermint with no surprises. Nice brownish-green liquor, takes well to multiple infusions. Even better if you add some honey.

So delicious! Went to DAVIDs TEA for the first time on Saturday and ordered 100g of this because I knew I would love it, and I do! Will continue to be a staple in my pantry because I drink several cups a day.

Hmmm…. there was quite an adventure with Organic Peppermint Amour. My friend sent me on another errand to get this tea for her, and in the store, I see my friend working there again! And this tea is really light so she gave me a huge bag haha! When I gave the tea to my friend she let me have a cup of this lovely tea as my “tip.”

This is one of those teas that you basically KNOW what it tastes like without having to drink it. Basically, if you’ve had anything with mint in it in your life, then you’ve tasted this tea. I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing; this tea is just mainstream (and that’s perfectly okay!)

It’s also incredibly strong. There are (apparently) no added flavorings, just peppermint leaves, and yet the peppermint taste is so incredibly strong that it knocked my socks off, it was so unexpected!
