From DAVIDsTEA

How it tastes
Fresh, cool minty flavour and aroma

It’s love at first sip with this organic peppermint tea. Said to stimulate passion and creativity, our peppermint is also fair trade, for great taste and good karma. It’s a naturally fresh, cool and comforting herbal tisane. And though it may be totally caffeine-free, that doesn’t mean it won’t awaken your senses.

What makes it great
• Peppermint tea is a classic remedy for an upset tummy.
• The active ingredient in peppermint is menthol – said to be great for soothing the throat.

Ingredients
Organic peppermint leaves from Oregon and Washington State.

A classic. Since I first discovered David’s tea, I always have some of this on my shelf. Peppermint tea is mostly what I drank as a kid so it’s a comfort tea for me. I also drink it when my belly is sad.

I like this tea for its simplicity. Just a nice minty tea, no funny after tastes or confusing mixes of different kinds of mint.

I have never been a fan of peppermint teas, I’d only ever tried bagged ones before and didn’t enjoy them. I was having stomach issues though and picked up a tin of Organic Peppermint from Davids as I thought it was a healthier choice than drinking ginger ale all the time.

As noted, since I’d only drank bagged peppermints before, I can’t compare this one to other loose blends, but I do enjoy this tea, and find the scent is more pepperminty than the taste (which is good for me). I also still drink it occasionally, even though my stomach issues have passed.

I would probably re-purchase, but when I did buy it, the tin was filled practically to the brim so I won’t need to any time soon.

I really like peppermint tea-it’s very soothing. With this tea, you get a lot of bang for your buck (you get a big bag for 50 grams!) and it is organic :)

I got this today, iced as the tea of the day. With some agave, it tasted like liquid peppermint candies. I love mint, so I thought it was delicious, but to those who don’t like mint, be warned!

Day 76 of my 101 days of tea. (Catching up on the backlog again)

1tbsp of this in 4 cups of water. For Valentine’s Day.

Wow this tea steeps fast!

It says 30 seconds to a minute, and that’s really all it needs. It was nice and soothing, with a hint of that cool minty aftertaste. Very nice, even with the extremely short steep. I prefered this a LOT over the spearmint — and it’s less expensive. Win-win!

This is coming from someone who’s never been a mint tea fan… and I quite enjoyed this. Definitely going to need to stock up on this!

Just another strong peppermint tea.
good for upset stomachs and sore throats and is a staple for wellness
tastes like any peppermint tea bagged I’ve had(harsh but it’s my opinion)
if you do not have any bagged peppermint tea this is better because loose leaf is always better and it’s organic to boot.
Decent.
Not the right mint taste that I adore.
Would be good for my wellness tea cupboard when needed.

Drank this to soothe my aching stomach after eating something that didn’t agree with me. So, so glad that I have this tea in massive quantities!

I had this tea late last night, and it was a relaxing experience. Unlike other peppermint tea I’ve had, it was an underwhelming peppermint finish that didn’t overpower the tea. However, it still left the tongue tingling after it went down and made for a very nice night’s sleep.

The second steep, this morning, was just as smooth and delicious, but with a weaker finish. It felt odd to drink it in the morning – I’d classify this as an evening tea that’s good for sharing :)
