This was so amazing. I’m basically having it for lunch as it’s so rich and wonderful. If I’d had it earlier I could have called it Elevensies.

Thank you Kittena! This was very tasty sample, and also another sipdown! (151). I’ve been trying a lot of my smaller samples lately it seems. Gotta make room for my Butiki order that OMGSrsly is holding for me.

This is really nice – I keep forgetting how good white teas can be. It’s slightly floral, but the berries are the key players here. It tastes like juice without all of the sugar, and is quite refreshing. It would probably be very good iced!

So I oversteeped this one as well! For 10 minutes? IDEK! /0\ Stupid work getting in the way of tea. :( I thought work was there just to allow me to drink tea all day and not worry about the baby? Ha.

So even though I was awful to this tea, it was very classy and didn’t complain. It’s still very tasty and fruity and a touch creamy. And there’s lemon! Yes. I get it now. I can see what the fuss is all about. It doesn’t hurt that my water is usually a bit under 100.

OMG – am I going to have order tins of EVRYTHING from H&S? Or will I get sick of certain blends? Rating = bumped, and I haven’t even tried it iced yet.

Everything started out fine. The water was hot. The leaves were carefully measured and placed in the basket. But then…. one coworker and then another came up to me and distracted me with inane questions. And there were issues to deal with. And before I knew it, my tea had been brewing for 8+ minutes. I don’t even know how long.

Maybe the J.A.M should go after my coworkers!

Anyway, thank you Kittena for the sample/sipdown. (152) This tea is only slightly bitter even after I abused it horribly, and I’m enjoying the blackberries and vanilla. I’m certain that if I were to place an order with Adagio, that I would snag some of this. But they’re sorta awful with customer service. So I don’t know if I ever will get my Adagio order in.

I guess it’s a teavana thing, but this Azteca Fire really reminds me of the Cococaramel Sea Salt blend. I guess because both are chocolate and oily? I don’t care that it’s oily though because it’s actually REALLY chocolatey. More than I’ve had in any tea I can remember.

But I’m mostly just grateful that I have an herbal tea that isn’t fruity and isn’t rooibos or honeybush like 95% of all my other non-caffenated teas. I’m happy JustJames gave me some to share, and I just remembered that Jackie T was sending me some along with the Cococaramel Sea Salt! So, I will be awash in Teavana chocolate teas. ;)

I drank it a week ago, with a bit of vodka and a touch of agave and it was fantastic. Iced too. (In case you thought it was hot).

The rest of it I made popsicles with and I’ll have to try them out tomorrow!

I’m a bit afraid to actually review this. It’s a Verdant Tea, and not only that, it’s super fancy and expensive. And it’s a Yunnan, which I like. :O How can I possibly do it justice?

Here goes….?

Steep One (1 min): It’s silky and sweet. The aroma is warm and welcoming. It’s also very honeyed in note, which is what I associate with Yunnan teas!

Steep Two (1 min): Still silky and sweet. A bit of something stronger in the undercurrent. Still honey – maybe more?

Steep Three (1 min, still): Even after 20oz, I’m still enjoying this. I am however getting bored of trying to analyze every steep. Maybe today wasn’t the day to do that.

I am sitting and enjoying each sip, but sometimes analyzing it takes some of the fun away. (Sometimes it adds to it)

ETA: This was tasty, but at the price I probably wouldn’t stock it.

So I finished up this tea, but I’m still at 155 because a co-worker gave me about 6 cups of Teavana’s Monkey Picked Oolong that she has too much of, and I couldn’t say no.

I was prety blah about finishing the whole thing, especially after it cooled a bit and there was this sour citrusy note that I wasn’t keen on, but then I broke my rules and added a dash of milk and the whole thing transformed into a very pleasant milk chocolate sorta tea. I guess that’s the only way to drink it!

I won’t order any more though. I still haven’t found the best chocolate orange, and maybe I just won’t.

This smells like the GREATEST COCONUT TEA EVER.

Update: It tastes like the greatest coconut tea too!

The base is very smooth, but the coconut has a bit of roastiness to it that’s appreciated. The chocolate notes peek out as it cools. I would gush about this more, but I’ve got 20 min of work left before I manage 6 busses/skytrains so I can get the baby from daycare and home. Mondays are not great days in that respect, but the tea has been pretty sublime.

I can’t believe I’m only a few teas into my H&S order and I’m already make notes about my next order. RIDICULOUS. How can it be so good?

I’m listening to Mumford&Sons while I drink this and that’s also making today nice.
