March Sipdown Prompt – your oldest black tea
I am pretty sure this is my oldest black tea. Rootled through the cupboard both online and in real life and since this one has a best by date that is two years past us, I guess I have to quit hoarding. This isn’t a sipdown, but merely progress toward one. Since I have very few tins that are nearly empty, sipdowns are not so common for me. Also, when I love a tea I tend to buy a large amount because hey, I LOVE IT. This results in an overstuffed cupboard.
I love it, Ashman didn’t, although his palate has expanded quite a bit so he might drink it now. Nevertheless, I always seem to drink it alone.
I compare this to Paris and Parker’s Blend for vibes and flavor family. The smell is just…so enticing to me. Bergamot but not strong enough to be blergamot, flowers, and candy candy candy. Pretty, pure white jasmine flowers mixed in. And still so tasty even two years past the “best by” date.

I wish Theodor would do an advent again, I would really like to try some of their teas but I don’t want to buy massive bags…

Someone had said they claimed they were going to release one last year, but as far as I know it never showed up on the website.
