206 Tasting Notes
So I found an deliciousssssss hard iced tea! I’ve been drinking it since halloween. The boyfriend came home with it as a surprise for me and I was in heaven! Beer and tea in one?! Its called Twisted Tea. Oh man its the typical original iced tea flavor I love it! Just thought this was a worth sharing:)

Here’s Hoping Traveling Tea Box #9
Can you say fruit punch?!?!?!?!
This is definitely fruit punch as tea. Wow. I love it. I wish I would have kept the rest of this when I had the box. Shoot! Well I cold steeped this and actually forgot about it and it was amazing! Wow. What more is there to say? So fruity. So yummy. Bliss!

This one was from the wonderful Stephanie who stashed this in the Here’s Hoping Tea Box for me to steal:) this definitely smelled just like pina colada! The notes of it were there but the matcha over powered it. Will have to change up the ratios here. :) to be continued…

This was the tea of the morning at work on tuesday. This reminded me so much of della terras bats in the bellfry. I’m not sure which one I like more. Della Terras was more creamy! This one was more minty. Hmmmmmmmmmm sounds like I meed to do a back to back taste test! Challenge accepted!
Preparation
I got this one in the mail yesterday and was ecstatic since I grew up on Nutella and it is still a staple in my pantry as a 20 year old. I was frightened to buy this one though after many many many negative reviews. But i decided to ignore them and order it anyways.
I took this one to work with me this morning YAY! loving my system I have. The dry leaf as I was prepping everything last night was very hazelnutty and creammmmmy! :D I was so excited to have this! My first sips this morning in the car were very nutty and after-notes of creaminess. I wouldnt say this is quite Nutella in a cup but it is definitely great!!! You get a more nutty feel and creaminess rather than chocolate as you do in Nutella. My second Steep I have to say was my favorite!!! It was pure bliss! The perfect ratio of chocolate, hazelnut and cream! My third steep after work I added some hazelnut creamer and it was soooo good to snuggle up with on the coach with my blanket and watch the 49er game as I waited for the boyfriend to come home from work. Thank you DAVIDsTEA!!! This might actually be one of my favorite’s so far. Will defintely reorder this when I am out! Staple on tea shelf that my best friends dad is building for me.
(4 of those and all of them black im sooooooo excited. Even though it wont even come close to holding anywhere close to my stash. Maybe just my staples and my millions of cups I have aquired:)
Preparation
I got this today in my American Tea Room order as a free sample along with 2OTHERS! Yay for being a steepster! I loved my mom homemade macaroons she use to make when I was a little girl. This dry leaf definitely smells of rooibos, however, steeps this definitely smells of fresh baked macaroons. That gooey coconutty goodness. I assume this is a take on chocolate dipped macaroons, hence the blend including cacao husks. It’s does also give it that baked toasty flavor as well. The coconut is present but not over powering. I’m really surprisingly enjoying this tea. A lot of people are comparing it to chocolate which I have yet to taste. Well I give this a two thumbs up. American Tea Room definitely did really good with my free samples!
I had such an amazing day today, I spoiled myself since my boyfriend was out of town for work. An antique show was in town and I went and came home with a few goodies!

(A teapot, teacup, tea tins, honey, beautiful cards, and a flannel all for $50)
Anyways when I came home I was craving this tea! Especially since I just got a new order of this in the mail this morning, and a HUGE bag of it since I ordered it on the day you got 20% more tea. I also wanted Rose Violet Calendula Oolong that Stephanie sent me, so I decided to cold steep that for tomorrow:)
And also I wanted an excuse to use my new teacup:

This tea was lovely as always. Smelled like a bakery in my kitchen when it was steeping.

This was one Stephanie sent my way. I have so much tea from her:) This base was a great choice! This for me was a very light tea. The aroma reminds me of the most amazing maple muffins we make at work! They are heavenly! The first sip you definitely get the nuttiness from the pecans and a slight maple after taste. Its a nice light afternoon tea:)
Preparation
I’m that way with most of my darker oolongs. Next time I put a package together remind me to throw more in!
This was for breakfast this morning:) My first time having this tea:) I was so excited to see it reblended after much uproar about it on here. It does not dissappoint. Every component is present. The airy pancake texture. The creamy buttery notes…and the sweet maple syrup. This tea is genius pure genius. I have found that 52teas does better with lower temperature water, if you use boiling it always turns out to just be a strong plain black tea sometimes even bitter. So I am happy I perfected it! Yummo! I am truly happy with this purchase.
Preparation
I am very excited that I have some of this (and other 52 teas – yay for sampler packs!) on the way!!
@Stephanie Have You tried this one? I know you don’t favor 52 teas… cream blueberry cheese danish is still by far my favorite
@Variatea I sense someone donated to his campaign. I sooo badly wanted to couldn’t afford to
I have never tried hard iced tea! I’m intrigued! Also I’m mailing you something tomorrow!
Awww! I’m getting yours together (verdant blend club, steap shoppe and a few extras) tomorrow or Friday and sending it out by Saturday (I hope) :) I wasn’t expecting anything :O :D
It’s just a little something :)
How sweet!
