Tea #10 from Another TTB
I was hesitant with this one because I usually don’t like fruit teas hot. This definitely is an exception! I have found out with this traveling box that I like creamy fruit dessert teas! This tea reminds me of those sundae cups you can buy from the ice cream man or the grocery store with the wooden spoons and either the chocolate fudge stripes or the strawberry syrup stripes! Those were my favorite and probably still are to this day except that I haven’t had one in years…. Mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm. This box of teas has definitely brought me back down memory lane. Reminding me of the good memories I did have as a child, while very few and small, they were still the good ones:) I love that this captured all the aspects of a sundae to the dot! I used to like to let my sundae cups melt a little and then mix it all together and then eat it, but if I was impatient I would just scrape the syrupy parts and eat those first :) overall I really really enjoyed this one. I took it with me to do a little Christmas shopping. So to whoever added this one, thank you for taking me down, yet another wonderful stroll amongst memory lane:) A creamy strawberry cup:) oh so scrumptious that is getting added straight to my shopping list to sit in my dessert tea stash crate for nights I crave what I don’t have:)

Tea #9 from Another TTB
This one brings back memories of my childhood. Every birthday my stepmom would bake me a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting and chocolate sprinkles for my birthday. That is all I would eat and nothing else would do ha ha.
The strawberry flavor is this tea is so natural and fresh tasting. There is a great creaminess to this one as well. The chocolate pairs perfect here! Mmmmm! You do get little hints of bakery “esque” flavors. That cake flavor you could say. I added a little sugar and cream and wow-y! There you go! Strawberry chocolate cake in a cup! I love the memories this tea brings back. I could really use a stroll down the narrow road of good memories. I’ve been dealing with stupid bank customer service who took a huge chunk of money from my account and it is not getting resolved. I am broke and will probably not be doing any Christmas shopping. I hate banks so much! I am going to just hoard my money in a box under my bed for the rest of my life. Ha ha.
Anyways, this tea was a great ending to my night. It makes me want to go bake a strawberry cake now! What fascinates me so much about this one is the strawberry flavor. I swear it tastes just like fresh strawberries :) I may have to keep this to stroll down memory lane every now and again (the low calorie version) ha ha

Wow, the honey really comes through from the gold buds. At first sight and smell I was not sur about this one, but since I love cinnamon swirl bread from sTEAp shoppe I thought, what the heck! And boy am I glad I tried it. Who would have ever guessed that many different teas and ingredients would steep into such a great cup! This would be a perfect breakfast tea! The sweet from the honey, the cinnamon notes, the cocoa definitely comes through in taste as well as smell! I do get tiny notes of some fruit flavors but I don’t know what exactly! I’m glad I went for it and tried this. Even though I so badly want to keep the last teaspoon for myself, I will let it go oj its way with the box.

Hmmmm…. This one was a little bit of a let down. All I got from this was a bitter dark chocolate note but it had an odd after taste. I didn’t get the almond at all:( I don’t know what went wrong. I will only be drinking about 3 or 4 other from this back so I can get it on its way, I would really love to enjoy all this box has to offer but with the holidays coming it’s just too hectic…:(
Preparation
Mmmmmmm mmmmmmmm mmmmmmm! I got this one when I visited my dad in Huntington Beach. I’ve had a few times now but yesterday I steeping it in warm milk for work and oh man! This is great!!!!! It’s super creamy and naturally sweet! The spices are all there. This does have a hint of white chocolate flavor. This is also good as a latte but this is definitely my preferred preparation. All frothy and steamy and a dash of cinnamon on top, creamy goodness! Deeee liccccc ousssss!

Wow! This one reminds me of Mandala Tea’s Special dark, however Might actually like this one a tad bit better (guilty). The cocoa taste is very prominent and the spices come through making this a cozy cup. It’s not quite as astringent as I found special dark to be. I don’t know… I’ll need to have these two side by side some time. Unfortunately this was the last leg of this teas journey in the box… I sampled the last bit of it:( I wish there was more:( I’ll have to add this to my shopping list. To whoever added this one, my deepest thanks:) I love it.

Shelley_Lorraine !!!!!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you sooooo much for including this in the box. I’ll have to keep the last serving for myself. I’m sad there wasn’t more:( this was so delicious! When I opened the sample it waft the scent of those oh so delicious Popsicle brand CREAMSICLES!!! Wow and steeped it is definitely that same taste! I add sugar and milk and it brings this dessert tea up a few notches!! Wowzah! I love it! It was another below freezing day today and I loved that I could have a Popsicle but keep warm as well! I never thought it possible!!!

Red velvet? Not so much? Chocolate mate? Yes ma’am! While it didn’t to me resemble anything of the sort of a red velvet cake (me being a baker, I was really let down) but however is still a yummy cup. Like Stephanie said in her tasting note, it does remind me a lot of chocolate malted mate:) if you are looking for a delicious red velvet cup of tea I would recommend DAVIDsTEA! :)

Tea #3 from Another TTB
I have tried to post this about 6 times and steepster keeps eating it up…:(
Anyways, this tea.
I so so so so soooooo wanted to love this one. It smelled of holiday in a cup! I brewed it as per instructions on the tin it came in….5 mins! I should have known better!! It smelled heavenly steeping… Of a cold night sitting by the fire. To taste… Bitter and notes of clove. I will have to try this again but at 3 mins. I’m sorry little tea. You deserved better.
Tea #2 from Another TTB
I had this last night as dessert:) I was hesitant because I am not a fan of licorice tastes and star anise. Yet when I leafed it out I got a whole piece of Anise. This made me hesitant. As it steeped oh boy that was all you could smell. But oh my!!!! I loved it! No notes of anise except the scent! This is creamy goodness. This was perfect for a below freezing night:) and oh man the coconut! Most everyone knows my devoted love to coconut! The pairing of both chocolates is heavenly!!!! I would definitely recommend this to chocolate lovers! Even though the white chocolate is more apparent it is still oh so scrumptious. Do not let the anise scare you. It warms this cup up but leaves no taste on the tongue! Yummy! I might have to keep this behind. :)
Oh I LOVE teas for cravings on foods I don’t have. This one certainly works for strawberry ice cream.
