I sipped this down over the weekend. Just in time for the 250g I ordered of it to arrive without much of a gap. I drank this in my thermos cold steeped grandpa style for a good 24 hours before the flavors gave out, then made a big pitcher of it hot steeped and poured over ice. By pitcher I mean large empty plastic juice container which I then took to the pool at the place we were staying and proceeded to drink mostly on my own over a lovely afternoon. This has the perfect blend of sweet spicy smoke that makes it such a unique tea! I can’t wait to have more!

Having this hot steeped concentrated then poured over ice today! I’m liking it this way. Just placed another order with the company for their mystery box. I wouldn’t be mad at all if more of this was on it’s way to me!

I was thinking this tasted like apricot, but there was more to it that I couldn’t quite pin down. Not Lupicia peach. Looks like there are several other flavors in the mix. There is a bit of a honey scent to it and something ashy, but not in an unpleasant way, in the sip. There is a light tartness too. The flavors seem a little muddled when hot. I bet this is one of those blends that would do well cold steeped. I’m going to have to try it with the rest of this sample!

The flavors in this one are pretty light. I can taste light marshmallow, but not much else. No rice flavor. Any flavor there is doesn’t seem well complimented by the tea base and they seem to be fighting it out and both loosing. Maybe I’ll try a larger serving for my next cup.

Gingerbread indeed! This definitely has that baked ginger flavor in the sip with a little of the ginger heat lingering in the finish. There is a caramel like flavor that is accompanying the ginger. A little sweetness in there from the little sugar crystals that were a pretty visual in the dry tea. This tea tastes pretty smooth. No rough edges or sharpness to the flavor. I like this a lot, but I don’t think I’d go through the hassle of trying to order some since stock on the website is so inconsistent. Wish it were easier!

A friend just brought a sample of this over for me to try! She warned me that it had stevia, but that it didn’t taste like stevia. So far I’m finding that to be true! It smells very chocolate caramel like when steeped. When sipping I taste bergamot, but it is rounded and doesn’t have that bite some berg has. I’m attributing it to the caramel notes. The finish is almost more mandarin and the chocolate comes in too. So far I’m liking it. The flavors are very floral and aromatic. As the cup cools slightly I notice a sour tinge which could be stevia or could be citrus… hard to say for sure, but overall I enjoyed this cup. Not sure that it is something I’d purchase, but I’d definitely have another cup.

Sipping this one down today! I had a cup of it yesterday that I enjoyed with it’s light honey peach flavors. Today I topped off the steeping basket from yesterday with the rest of what was in the bag. I got all the little granules in the basket and today my cup is a little spicy! It’s a deeper heat that I feel more in my throat and stomach, warming it up. There is a weird flatness I’m getting today that I didn’t get yesterday and I’m guessing it must have something to do with the spice. The finish is more honey peach with the heat lingering. It’s an interesting blend, is visually pleasing, but isn’t one I’m going to miss a ton. Still, I’d probably buy it again and give it another go if I had the chance.

First sip down in a while! Had a cup of this yesterday and it was good, but today’s cup isn’t fantastic. Maybe it’s a symptom of the bottom of the bag dust. I do love this tea, but I’m feeling like there are other orange flavored teas that I’d prefer having in my life. I’m cool with saying goodbye to this one for a long while.

I’m really enjoying this tea. I love vanilla, but most vanilla teas don’t impress me. I don’t know what is different about this one, but I like it. It has the lightest malt to it that works well with the vanilla. I love complexity of multiple flavors in tea working off each other, but this is really just vanilla and for whatever reason that’s all I need it to be.

Sipped on this today with my breakfast. I was a little distracted with all I was doing and eating (making and eating egg fried rice) so I didn’t pay too much attention to the tea. I recall it being okay, but not phenomenal. The flavor was true to it’s name sake and a little raisiny, but I wanted more of something. Not sure what that something was, but it didn’t stop me from downing the whole thing before I could reflect much on flavor and experience.
