658 Tasting Notes
I bought myself just a small bag of this last night as I’ve had it but not bought it before.
I should have got more! Tisanes don’t usually excite me, but this one is so great. It’s lemony, fruity, and a little spicy. It’s so fresh yet warming. Lovely! It’s just so different from anything else I own.
I had this on my way to class tonight as a latte I ordered to go when I was picking up some tea in-store.
For some reason, it tasted really sweet! I’m wondering if they automatically sweeten their lattes, but I don’t know. Anyway, it was still tasty and spicy. I didn’t realize till tonight that there is no ginger in this, which is probably why I like it so much.
It’s been a little while for me and Super Chocolate. But, wow! It’s steeping right now and I can smell it all the way from the kitchen. Crazy.
Ah, yes. I remember why this was becoming my last-cup-before-bed tea before I decided I didn’t want to run out of it. It’s so satisfying and comforting. It’s just so well-rounded!
I don’t give this tea enough credit; it’s still left over from my very first sample set from DavidsTea! It’s really nice. I tend to sniff my teas when trying to decide which to consume, and this one always makes me think it’s going to be too sweet or too strongly flavoured. But it’s not. It’s subtly sweet and very well-balanced.
Wow, this is good. Really good.
I’ve been a bit intimidated to try this as the dry leaf smells so intensely. It’s much more subtle when brewed, but still outstanding. It’s pretty strange that nothing is added to this. I’ve also been scared of liking it too much. All the DavidsTea staff I’ve talked to seems to rave about it, and it’s pretty pricey, and comes in limited quantities. But I’m glad I tried it.
It’s delicious. Buttery but somehow light. I expected it to be very heavy, but it’s just thick enough to feel satisfying while somehow remaining refreshing. I don’t know; there’s a lot going on here. Time for a top-up and a re-steep!

I had big plans to go smell this (and Long Life Oolong because I am more into flavoured than unflavoured tea). Good to know it’s liked!
