Trying this for the first time tonight.

The first few sips brought a strong red rooibos flavour. Not bad, but I was hoping for more. As it cooled a little/I continued, the fruitiness came forward. Quite nice! A nice change from my other rooibos choices.

I don’t like coffee so never considered this one till trying it as a tea of the day in-store. I finally bought a bit last week.

This is a very rich tea, but I’m happy it’s not overtly coffee-flavoured. It has the depth and richness of coffee, but apart from that I don’t find it to be too similar. I really like the caramel notes. It’s pretty earthy and heavy and I added light cream so it feels a bit like a meal in a cup. I think I have to be in the right mood for this but like it when I am.

Tasty and comforting as ever. It makes me wish it were still the holidays, but almost glad it’s still snowy. Still the only mint tea I’ve found that I like! I love the creamy quality it’s got going on.

I went to see an old friend tonight. She offered me tea and said “you know the options.” I tried to refrain from scrunching my nose up at the grocery store green tea bags I know she’s had in the cupboard for years. But then she surprised me and said “I also have this awesome peppermint one from DavidsTea.” I grew up with this girl and also lived with her for two years and have never seen her use loose-leaf tea. But she offered me Santa’s Secret! Amazing! Thanks, DavidsTea, for opening an Annex Toronto location and enlightening my peers.

I drank this last night to warm myself up. It’s wonderful for that. I can see how people may find it’s not as nutty as advertised, but I love the combination of nuttiness and fruity sweetness.

Interesting! The fig flavour is just so different and unexpected. I find this to be a lighter oolong. Like I said, the flavour is so surprising in a tea, and it really makes me feel like I’ve just bitten into a fig. The melon notes are floating around, too, making this feel very juicy. I like it.

I also love that DT will be featuring a tea of the month. I need constant stimulation so it suits me well.
