Wow, this is good. Really good.

I’ve been a bit intimidated to try this as the dry leaf smells so intensely. It’s much more subtle when brewed, but still outstanding. It’s pretty strange that nothing is added to this. I’ve also been scared of liking it too much. All the DavidsTea staff I’ve talked to seems to rave about it, and it’s pretty pricey, and comes in limited quantities. But I’m glad I tried it.

It’s delicious. Buttery but somehow light. I expected it to be very heavy, but it’s just thick enough to feel satisfying while somehow remaining refreshing. I don’t know; there’s a lot going on here. Time for a top-up and a re-steep!

I had big plans to go smell this (and Long Life Oolong because I am more into flavoured than unflavoured tea). Good to know it’s liked!

I wish I could afford to buy several tins of Long Life Oolong and place them around my apartment, as it smells incredible. I tend more towards flavoured teas, too, and haven’t had many unflavoured oolongs, especially ones that I liked. This was really nice!
