377 Tasting Notes
I tried this at my favorite coffee shop, loose leaf sachet. I’ve gotta tell you this is one of the most delicious teas that I have tried. I have seen the great reiviews on this one and knew I had to try it. It definitely lives up to the reviews. I like that it is decaf too.
Having this before bed. Such a great tea and only a dollar for the container.

Had to get some more of this when we went to Teavana. This morning a TSP of Java and a TSP of the good Dr. Tea’s Imperial Pu-Erh…..Yum!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which Teavana do you visit locally? I think Beachwood is closest to me, but I am afraid to go in. I hate pushy sales people…… I still need to make it to the Asian market, too! I would ahve gotten there sooner if my tea cabinet were not overflowing! Any other good local sources?
I normally would go to the one in Beachwood but now they have one in Belden Village in Canton. I’ve tried to search for more places…praise tea is based in cleveland but I don’t know if they have an actual store. You can try Clementines in Olmsted Falls as well.
I bought this tea to get me up to 25 dollars to get a free box of tea since I was re-ordering my Pu-Ehr :) I was surprised. A nice Oolong tea. I could pick out the Oolong flavor…Ti Kuan Yin maybe? The combination of the flavors actually tastes a little peachy to me. I think it’s quite tasty.
It’s like the statue of Liberty yixing, I think. If one can slap a recognizable symbol on something to sell a product, someone will. To knowledge Obama is a coffee and cigarette man, correct? Tsk tsk. XD
@KeenTeaThyme, because then the same words would describe the tea as his political practices.
@Batrachoid, What’s wrong with coffee and why are you judging him for that? I’ve heard he’s quit smoking twice- yet another way he’s dishonest. Oh well. As for tea. I’m guessing that because of his ethnicity he’s probably drank red and/or green bush before. Maybe even African chai.
I meant the cigarettes. I used to have a deathly allergy to them. I like coffee sometines too. Kenya AAA is one of my favorite kinds, actually XD
I hadn’t thought of that but when you think about he did live in the region of Africa that grows rooibos…He probaly at least know about loose leaf brewing at least.
Found a can of this at Big Lots for 2.50 already a win. I’ve found this one to be quite good. Malty, not too strong black flavor. In my experience between Twinnings and Teavanna there is not much deviation in the flavor which is good. If you like English Breakfast you could go with either it will be good. I did notice that Twinnings loose leaf are a little bit tinier almost like a CTC Assam. Made it in the french press…two tasty steepings so far. This could become a favorite.
