Old sample from Tea Sipper. Thank You!
There was just enough here for a slightly overleafed cup. Unfortunately, this tastes like it has probably lost its flavor due to age. I’m mostly getting slightly sweet honeybush with a tiny bit of sourness in the aftertaste. Pleasant, but doesn’t live up to the name.
Nice and flowery, with no bitterness. I steeped this with a splash of cold water for less than a minute. I’ll probably resteep it. Jasmine tea is one of the few that I resteep because I prefer it to have a lighter flavor.

This is not very good. It’s woody from the rooibos and earthy and a bit sweet from the vanilla, but there’s an unpleasant chemical aftertaste.
Flavors: Artificial, Earth, Vanilla, Wood

This isn’t bad, but it’s not really what I’m looking for from a chocolate tea. It tastes pretty much like a liquid tootsie roll. There’s a little bit of earthy woodiness from the Puerh, but it’s not real strong. I can see how some people might really enjoy this, but it’s not for me.

It is very rare that I actually like a peach flavored tea. I love peaches and peach schnapps, but I tend to think peach teas just don’t do the flavor justice. Many of them are way too sweet, I tend not to like how the flavor combines with black or green tea, many of the herbal varieties are too sweet or have a strange aftertaste, or both. But I really like this. The peach flavor is light, but definitely present and the oolong is less prominent, but really rounds out the peach flavor well and adds a bit of a floral note. This is a keeper!
Flavors: Floral, Peach
Preparation
Have you found any really good peach herbals? Since I liked the floral note here, I wonder how it would taste with rose petals…
Just Peachy from DAVIDs TEA was the best peach tea I’ve had, but it is sweet. Mind you, so are peaches ;). There was also that peaches and cream tea they had a while back that was decent too.

This was a surprise favorite for me. I don’t usually care for lemongrass, I don’t often like mint in blends, and I’m picky about rose hips. But this is actually really good! It’s bright, fruity, and pleasantly tart, with an aftertaste of herbs and mint. I think I like it in part because the main flavor and the aftertaste are so distinct -you taste the fruit first and as that flavor is fading, then you get the mint.
Flavors: Citrus, Fruity, Herbs, Mint, Pleasantly Sour
Preparation
Old sample from tea sipper. This is really nothing special. The hibiscus definitely dominates. I wish it had a stronger citrus flavor. I also wish they had skipped the rooibos and lemongrass because they give this a slightly odd aftertaste that tastes almost minty.
Flavors: Citrus, Hibiscus, Mint
Preparation
It worked! I added chili powder, garlic powder, and black pepper and this now tastes a lot like beef jerky. It’s not quite as meaty, but it has all the other flavors I would expect to find. This would probably also be good to use in soup. Maybe I’ll try it with ramen noodles at some point…
