184 Tasting Notes
In a bad mood, with talk of the upcoming merger and job security (or lack thereof) and stuff. I really like this tea, so decided to have some because I just really like it. That, and had sucky tea at some Chinese food place for lunch, and it was just awful.
Preparation
Finally decided to break into this tea. It’s nice and light (as are most white teas), but I can taste pretty much everything. I think this works well together, as you have enough contrast for the sweet flavors. I can taste ginger/orange pretty strongly. I’m not sure this evokes a ‘Christmas Cookie’ thought, though.
Preparation
Finished it up on a lousy morning. First, my alarm went off this morning without any sound. My hubby woke me up, and of course, I was very late. I was sneezing on the way to work (time for the allergy meds again!), and then I was just majorly itchy from these socks.
So, I wanted a nice tea that I know I like…and this one definitely fits the bill. I just wish I had MORE of it! But, that’s how it works!
I’m sad to see this one go…it was such a nice tea.
Preparation
Tastes spicy today…like a chai! I went back and looked at the ingredients…some of those ‘chai’ flavors are in it, so that accounts for the taste.
It tastes really bold today. The orange comes through a bit, as does the almond, but the chai flavor is overpowering.
Preparation
Almost out of this tea. :( I really, really like it, and it’s a good go-to tea. I especially like the contrast of lemon and ginger. Yeah, they are both strong flavors, but different. I don’t know why they work so well together, but they do. The cookie kind of sneaks in, and mellows the whole thing out. I don’t really taste OOLONG like I normally do, but it’s interesting to see how the leaves open up.
Preparation
I didn’t get a lot of the oily feeling this time…like it wasn’t greasy on my lips. I kept the steep time short. I got good flavor though, so it must not have hurt anything! I did like the flavor; I think the white chocolate goes well with the raspberry.
