184 Tasting Notes
Had this tea this morning because I’m really pissed off, and didn’t want a calming tea…I wanted something BOLD!
I like chai tea, and this one has the bold spice, plus the sweetness of caramel and vanilla. Bold, but warming. After our little rant-fest at work (turns out, I’m not the only one stressed by home/work stuff!), I feel better! Just needed some nice chai tea and other working moms who also deal with the same stuff.
Preparation
Not very impressed with this tea. When I smelled it out of the bag, it had an alcohol smell to it, but I can still smell the chocolate and banana.
Brewed up, it’s a light color…I expected it to be darker (then again, there’s no tea, so it sort of makes sense). I still taste this alcohol taste to it. I wonder if it is the apple.
Not getting enough banana, although I am getting some chocolate.
Preparation
I appreciate the white tea…very light and delicate, and not overpowering. This tastes more and more fruity as it cools. I must LOVE mulberries! I also taste the peach that some others mentioned. A nice light tea! I got this as a sample in a RiverTea order…very nice to do that!
Preparation
Chose this as my ‘I can’t believe it’s my birthday today…last one before the big 4-0’ tea this morning.
I really like this tea. The chocolate spice makes me think that I’m eating something I should not be! Theoretically, this should keep me away from the donuts that a co-worker brought in this morning, but part of me suspects that will not be the case for long. :)
Preparation
I think this probably tastes AWESOME as a hot tea (and I should probably try the green tea version, because I can picture that being pretty good as well), but I didn’t think this worked as an iced tea. The strawberry flavor was great, but to me, it tasted like strawberry milk or strawberry whipped cream, and although I drank it, I just think that it wasn’t what I was looking for.
Been drinking this for 2 days as I recover from wisdom teeth extraction yesterday. No hot tea allowed, but I’ve been sucking down the gallon I made of this, and boy, is it good! I don’t like juice, and I just can’t manage to drink a lot of water, but this stuff has really been great to stay hydrated with!
Ah, yes…my favorite and fall back tea. I stayed up WAAAY too late last night watching the eclipse, and I need something that I know I like for this morning.
I don’t understand what I’m tasting, and it still always tastes somewhat cherry vanilla to me, but I love it. I am very, very tired right now. :)
