Sipdown…from the sil matcha bag I got. I did manage to make this one well, and I got some butterscoth sweetness, but it was not too stung. It was still tasty, but not a fave.

Backlog sipdown. Cold steeped this one yesterday and I agree I like it better this way, though I still found the base a little too astringent for my taste.

Sipdown…oversteeped this by forgetting about it and it got so bitter it was undrinkable.

I did like this one with my initial steep though, so thank you once again for sending it Dexter.

Sipdown…made sure I had cooler water, timed a 3 min steep, and it was still bitter. Guess this just isn’t my tea, but thanks again to Dexter for letting me try this.

This tea is surprisingly tasty….but, it tastes like maple? Sorta? It was sweet, and I’m not entirely sure it was maple, but also not sure it was like chestnut either. At least the base was muted from the milk, so no bitterness on my end.

I will happily have the last of my sample from Dexter and hope it is as tasty still.

This is one of the Harry Potter teas I requested from Dexter and while I like it, I don’t find it is amazing. It’s just nice, pleasant, non-offensive, etc. I can’t really make out that much of the individual flavours much. Maybe it will be better as a cold steep?

This is nice, but as it cools down, it is starting to get bitter. Like others, I also find an absence of coconut, though there is a little bit of a creamy taste, so maybe the coconut is mixed in there? I tried this brew with only a little organic cane sugar. Maybe next one will be with milk? I wonder if that will draw out the hidden coconut.

Sipdown!

Did a cold steep of this last night, and OMG YUCK! I tried to drink it but ultimately tossed it out. I think this was better hot. I think it was too mushroomy for me cold steeped.

Sipdown! Had the last of this today. I had it without milk but I have decided I like it best with. It was a little astringent and I’m not sure if that was the actual tea or me possibly overleafing.
