derk sent me a beautiful little bouquet of chrysanthemum buds (Christmas-anthemums!) in a bag. Now some of them are in my cup. Wow. Just wow. They do not taste like lawn clippings. Lemony without being citrusy, buttery without being dairy, honey without being sticky. Sunshine in a cup, for sure.

You would have laughed at me dragging out my measuring cup to make sure I was hitting 100 ml (whatever that is…we’re in the Midwest!) so that I would not mess up my first steep.
