Very short cold brew—maybe 8 hours. Either a very good batch of leaf or I like this way better lightly steeped. Pretty heavy on the grape—a mix of sour and white. Slight floral notes as well. Won’t up my rating based on just this one instance, but way better than my previous tries.
Flavors: Floral, Grapes

This tea definitely shines when it’s black. Unlike many teas from DAVIDs, the black base actually comes through and nicely complements the juicy blueberry. It’s a nice simple tea, perfect for the morning.

If hard candy means Jolly Rancher, then this is spot on. A slight pleasant sourness and lovely fruity vibe (not any fruit in particular). If you like the candy, you will like the tea. Tempted to pick up a bit of this as well.
Flavors: Candy, Fruity, Pleasantly Sour

Finally got a chance to head to DAVIDs and investigate the summer collection. Opted for this as a tea pop. Rather lovely. Coconut and pineapple in a very pina colada very followed by a heavy strawberry note and then a hint of juicy mango. Quite tart from the hibiscus but it doesn’t take away from the tea. Probably pick up a small sample of this sometime before the season is over, but I need to drink down my cupboard first.
Flavors: Coconut, Hibiscus, Mango, Pineapple, Strawberry
So maybe, just maybe, did I forget I had a cold brew of this going. So maybe, just maybe, did it get a little incredibly over-steeped. Fortunately not bitter, but sickly sweet. If I watered it down it would probably be much better. As it is, this isn’t overly enjoyable. I know I’ve had better results with it in the past. Aftertaste is nice though—mellows out the sweetness and even becomes pleasantly sour later.
Flavors: Peach, Pleasantly Sour, Sweet
Preparation
This tea certainly does have a baklava vibe. Honey, phyllo pastry, almonds, and a hint of cinnamon. A dried fruit as well (thinking apricot). There’s also a slight creaminess like rice pudding. There’s actually quite a lot going on in this. While today I decided to have it black, this tea is also remarkable as a latte. I will note that the actual tea in this doesn’t really stand out, but I’m still very fond of this one.
Flavors: Almond, Cinnamon, Creamy, Dried Fruit, Honey, Pastries
Preparation
Wasn’t overly in the mood for something fruity tonight, but being 11pm anything caffeinated was out and all my herbals at the moment are fruity. As always, the pie vibe was warm and welcoming. More of a green/plant-y note than earlier cups (spearmint/grass?), not really sure where that’s coming from, but as this was closer to the end of my bag the leaf was much heavier on the blackberry leaves which might explain it. Still very fond of this tea.
