Got a to-go cup for this rainy day. Haven’t had this one since around Christmas. I find it a really nice light, spiced tea. There’s definitely a lot of cinnamon to this, but there’s also a nice light buttery flavour and some citrus and sweetness. There’s a nice oat bar-y vibe to this overall. Quite a nice tea.

Hmm…this is better than I remember, but still not as perfect as I had hoped. I just brewed this hot and poured over ice as I didn’t have time for a cold brew. There’s a strong, juicy mango flavour, frozen peach notes, and just an overall tropical feel. Definitely very refreshing for a hot day.

Flavors: Fruity, Mango, Peach, Tropical

drank Dark Chocolate Delight by DAVIDsTEA

This tea was a lot more heavy on the blueberry than I would have imagined. More like eating dark chocolate covered blueberries than anything else. Fortunately, I like blueberries AND chocolate, so this gets points from me. There definitely is a certain similarity to hot chocolate as well. Not sure if I’ll pick some up, but enjoyable.

Flavors: Blueberry, Chocolate, Creamy

Preparation
Boiling 2 tsp 17 OZ / 500 ML

I got almost no blueberry from mine! I’m wondering if it’s a batch difference or just a difference in our palates.

Fay

I suspect it was the batch, as I got a very heavy blueberry flavour from mine. Though my bf had a sip and got cherries instead, so it might be a bit ambiguous.

Sipdown!

Didn’t quite have enough for a full cold brew so I added a little Kiwi’s Big Adventure. Nice strong cantaloup flavour in this batch. A little lemon added from the Kiwi’s Big Adventure was nice as well. I don’t really mind that I’m all out of this, but it was a nice addition to the cupboard.

Flavors: Cantaloupe, Melon

Iced

Mmm…having this again reminds me how much I want to pick up some of this. It’s a little dry, but otherwise perfect. It sure does make me want some cake though…

Painfully aware of how much of this I have left, I decided to make up another cold brew. Not as bad as I had worked it up to be, but still horribly sweet and artificial. Still a few more cups to go…

Flavors: Artificial, Candy, Strawberry

Preparation
Iced 2 tsp 17 OZ / 500 ML

Oh geez, dare I ask how much you have left? Poor you.

Fay

Probably another 12g or so. One of those times that going off the smell was a mistake.

drank Ginger Lemon Green Tea by Kusmi Tea

Wishing this packed more of a punch. This cup had some ginger, and not much lemon. Mostly tasted like drinking a cup of hot water. Maybe I’m just used to stronger teas. Happy there was no bitterness though.

drank Passion by Tazo

Still have a whole bunch of this from last summer when I was on a kick of trying to make passion tea lemonade at home. Down to maybe 7 tea bags of the original 16, so getting there.

I don’t drink this hot often, though it is rather nice. Getting a raspberry/blackberry vibe here. There’s cinnamon, but not as intense as in Teavana’s Passion Tango. Supportive role from the lemongrass as well. Quite heavy on the hibiscus, particularly as it cools.

drank Youthberry by Teavana

Teavana teas so far have all been kind of “meh” for me, and this is no exception. It’s fruity, as would be expected. Primarily mango supported by strawberry. Usually mango is a win for me, but this is just okay. A light flavour, but even so I would try steeping for less time as this got noticeably bitter as it cooled.

drank Chocolate Chili Chai by DAVIDsTEA

Haven’t had this black for a while, so I figured I’d revisit it. I like the chocolate notes in this—a crisp dark chocolate than turns creamier towards the end of the cup. Given the name, I would like more chili and chai though. There is a noticeable chili taste, but it varies greatly from sip to sip (today it all came in the middle, but I’ve had cups where it’s peaked towards the end, maybe it depends on the temperature). All in all, rather nice. Still have a lot to get through though.

Flavors: Creamy, Dark Chocolate, Spices
