52 Tasting Notes
One of the creamiest teas I have tried. Full bodied. No bitterness at all. Th creamy flavor outweigh the chocolate IMO but in a good way. Delicious! something I plan to reorder ASAP.

I’ve been so busy that I not only haven’t posted in awhile but I completed missed that we had a tea shop open out here! I found out about Trina’s Tea Kettle and Boutique after work and ran right over.

I’m glad I did! Not only do they have some very cute accessories, they also carry a bunch of Harney & Sons blends :)
I;ve been out of Tower of London for awhile, so I picked up a tin …so consistently yummy! Perfect before dinner tea with the weather just starting to cool down.

Thank God, I still have some of this left! Used one of my last two sachets after a disastrous morning that involved the car. Again.
God, I wish I lived near a BART station so I could just sell my car and be done with it!
As usual, his tea was lemony , creamy and amazingly soothing. Wedding tea didn’t fix the car or the hit my budget is about to take but it did help cushion the blow and limit the venting I did on my husband.

Today was a day filled with annoyance. Starting with the discovery that the cost of the 60,000 service on my Dodge Dart would cost $898.55! :(
After much research and comparison shopping, I discovered the main reason for this price was the transmission service that was a hefty $676.65 ~ and the kicker is that the service can’t be done anywhere other than the dealer because is requires a “special tool”!!! GAW!!!
I was sooooooooooo fit to be tied. I was half way to the fridge to open a bottle of wine when I remembered…I have Harney’s Florence in the house :) A much better choice at 2:30 in the afternoon.
Such a great tea. Chocolaty flavor and a wonderful rich creaminess with a scent that just makes everything seem better!
It didn’t solve the problem with those idiots at Dodge but after my third cup, I did feel calmer (which is amazing with that much black tea) and better able to figure how to wanted to deal with the idiots.

Thanks teepland. Things went from bad to worse today.Long story short, found out the most expensive part…the part involving the transmission and the “special tool” may not be needed until I’m at 120,000. Then, I went out and tried to start my car.
Operative word being “tried”.
Alternator went out to the tune of $674.00. :(
So, sadly I will be spending about $800.00 anyway, even though I got around the transmission work.
Obviously, this calls for more tea!
Oh no! That is absolutely ridiculous! I’d be losing my mind at this point! :(
I hope your tea is a calming respite in an otherwise awful situation. And, at least the weekend is almost here too, right? (trying to think of the positives for the day…)
Thanks for the kind words teepland. It is ridiculous and believe me I lost my mind for several hours yesterday but a day later I am resigned and just glad the car died on my drive way and not morning traffic.
The thing is, I live small. It takes very little to make me happy dollar wise but most people that buy a Dart are young folks not people like me that are at the top of their union salary scale after 20 yrs. of teaching.
I bought the Dart because I am cheap :) AND because it looked like most of it was made in Bloomington, Illinois USA. I could have bought higher end but I wanted a car payment well below $500 (mine is $211 for 60 months and that makes me very happy). Anyway, I know a bill like this would have blown my budget out of the water when I was just starting out.
When you buy a starter car you really need affordable repairs.
Sorry to get so long winded but if we were talking my husband’s old company car (Mercedes) or a super exciting sports car maybe I’d have taken it in stride sooner. :)
I love this tea just a tad more than its sister (royal palace). The 30 sachet tin arrived yesterday along with 2 other orders (my first from Verdant and some flowering teas because it’s just fun to watch it open and use as a mini centerpiece on the dining room table).
This tea is neck and neck with Irish Breakfast.
The lemon is nature and blends so well with the tea. When you add just a touch of creme and sweetener the tea holds up wonderfully. So smooth, so flavorful.
While I enjoy the grapefruit in the royal palace, the lemony flavor of diamond jubilee is just, somehow, brisker and smoother at the same time.
A great first cup in the morning.
I chilled some last night and as a black iced tea it is wonderful!!!
So much better than anything I tried from the supermarket. I say that because for years I thought tea was tea, especially black tea. How wrong I was!

This is the first a sample selection I ordered during the promotion mentioned on one of the discussion threads here.
This i s type of tea is a change from the usual blacks I favor.
It is good. Just different. More woodsy and roasted. As I often do, I added a dab of sweetener and creme. They brought out thee roasted flavor of this tea. I am curious to see how the flavor changes during the next couple of steeping.
It borders on mellow for me though it is not a weak tea. The flavor isn’t heavy, it doesn’t smack you taste bids senseless. Maybe the word I’ looking for is refined?

Still a solid 90 for me. I made a few cups of this and chilled it this morning so it would be ready during the heat of the day. Still get a peachy / apricoty flavor that is really refreshing.
I really need to try more oolongs. I like this one but wasn’t thrilled with ginger oolong and kind of went back to the black teas.
Time to be more daring :)

It’s Paris for breakfast! So decadent but I’m on vacation and since I can’t go to the city of Paris for breakfast, Harney’s Paris is a nice alternative.
Yum. That is the word for this fruity black. Just yum!

While the Mr. Coffee tea maker edges this one out as my first choice, the Nesco machine is a very, very close second.
If only it had a temperature control :(
For brewing a nice pot of black tea, you really can’t beat it.
The separate brewing and warming pots means you don’t have to hurry back to remove the infuser when the timer goes off. I LOVE that!
It is easy to clean and use. It is not nearly as bulky as it looks in the pictures.
