No, no, no, I disagree. This is just a normal rooibos, it tastes pretty plain, not spicy at all, there’s no pumpkin flavor which is understandable since it is a tea, not a smoothie (how do you add REAL pumpkin chunks into a herbal blend?), but the lack of spices it is not understandable. Big dissapointment. There is a better, more flavorful pumpkin spice tea served at some Barnes and Noble stores (the ones that have a coffee shop inside).

My husband says it’s not pumpkin spice season yet. The stores tell me otherwise. Though I do wish they would wait till October, I couldn’t help but pick up this up. Glad I did. It has a really nice lingering after taste. Pumpkin is hard to decipher in tea but as far as pumpkin spice goes, you can definitely taste it! Quite good. Quite relaxing.

It comes earlier and earlier each year it seems. I’m glad though!

Bearing in mind that this note is in the category of ‘bagged teas,’ I was pleasantly surprised by this selection. The only other Irish breakfast tea I have tried is Twinings, and I find this to be quite different. In my opinion, this tea does a perfect job of being exactly what it purports to be: a strong, malty black tea with some bright notes. I enjoy both loose leaf and bagged teas, and I’d like to mention that I found this tea to have some subtlety of flavor not common amongst bagged teas. If you’re the kind of person who likes a bagged Irish tea, and I realize that not everyone does, then I expect you’ll be greatly satisfied with this one.

So like I hadn’t tried plain chaomomile so I decided to pick this up at the store (before my bro sent me chamomile). But I actually tried the chamomile from my bro first which actually tasted way fresher.
Opened a tea bag of it, didn’t smell that strong. And yeah…just didn’t taste good. It just tasted really old….
Don’t know why though. Eh.
Didn’t even make me feel relaxed or tired like the other did. This is a fail tea basically. D:
Oh welllll
Trader Joes should stay like with cookies…they have really good cookies. Particularly their newish maple leaf cookies. HOLY SHANGHAI. It’s freakin’ heaven. Love it.
Anyway but yeah this tea sucks

Needed a mid-afternoon pick me up and haven’t had this in a while.

No one else mentions this but as delicious as the tea smells when brewing the dry tea bag smells grungy and murky to me and is off-putting

Taste is simplistic, I’m not picking up the nuances I have come to expect from black tea but there is decent sweet vanilla flavor at the forefront rounded out by an edge of cinnamon at the end of the sip.

A friend of mine made me a cup of this at work today (because it’s my birthday!). I love it! It reminds me of the Harney & Sons Green Tea Coconut Thai blend, but better. Mellow, slightly nutty, buttery, pleasant. Perfect for this rainy cloudy day. Yum yum yum. :D

Flavors: Butter, Coconut, Ginger, Lemongrass

This is a great green tea for the price. I’m getting a good coconut scent and flavor, but not much citrus from the lemongrass. I believe I got the 5 oz. tin for under 6 bucks which you really can’t beat. It’s not my favorite green tea (I prefer straight/unflavored green tea’s with honey added), but the quality is good and at this price-point I’m going to try to incorporate it into my regular rotation.

I liked this. This is the sencond gingery rooibos chai I’ve had lately, and I’ve liked both of them, so I will keep that in mind for he future.

This is a great tea! My boyfriend has bought this and I was very skeptical to try it because I have tried some white teas before that have been very bitter. I first tried this hot and it was good, not bitter at all and had a very nice flavor. The flavor was not too strong or too weak and very balanced between ginger and pear. Today I made it iced and it was even better! Still had the same flavor characters when iced.

As another reviewer noted, it is very soothing. That’s the best word I can think of. It doesn’t have a great earl grey flavor and it doesn’t give a lot of energy…

Wonderful! Right out of the gate I can taste the coconut and the citrus. It is a wonderful complement with the green tea. It is a bit bitter but perhaps I steeped it too long.

It has a very warm range of flavors to it and I really find it as a solid choice. It was on the shelf at Trader Joe’s and was $5 for 5oz which is a great deal!

I just bought the stuff by accident looking for normal GREEN. as for taste yea it seems as if the vigor was sucked out with the caffeine. with that being said the product is as it claims DECAFFEINATED. which explains its lackin taste however still retains its many green tea benefits too. just with out the pick me up of a normal caffeinated drink.

At this price, it’s a good value, though not especially subtle—definitely contains more actual tea than Lipton black tea. I prefer to downplay its strength with milk and sweetener, though at that point you might as well drink TJ’s Irish Breakfast.

Not my thing! I enjoy white tea in general, but the ginger and pear overwhelm it, and aren’t particularly sweet. Can’t seem to brew it in a way I enjoy without adding sugar. It sounds like such an alluring combination that guests are gradually taking it off my hands.

This is a desert chai for sure! The chai taste is sweet and not spicy just as been said, but knowing that is important because this accompanies milk and whip cream very well with the caramel taste already added. For a desert chai this is great, I suppose the sugar content could be decreased and replaced with spice but it would lose it’s identity in a way. I didn’t taste any salt flavoring though which is fine with me.

This is one of the worst green teas I have ever bought a large quantity of… but, it makes the best soup broth for any Asian styled soup you’d like to create.
Marking this as a coconut green tea is very deceptive because it’s really lemon grass and green tea (with maybe some coconut and ginger).
