This is perfect caramel and marshmallow gooeyness. It’s another top-notch win from Della Terra.
Why did I only buy 1 oz? :O

Preparation
THIS is a cookie tea.
The oatmeal and raisin are so perfect! And the cinnamon spices… I love it.
The mouthfeel on this one is VERY cookie like too. It’s tea magic. I don’t see why Della Terra does dessert teas so well, while Davids and Teavana make oily messes, but I won’t complain about it.
I can’t remember if DTT teas re-steep well or not. I’ll have to experiment.

I am so excited I decided to order more than just a sampler of this one even though I never tried it before. It just sounded so great I could not resist. I am hoping my DTT order gets here soon.

So my order arrived today! I haven’t ordered Della Terra since September and was all out of everything aside from the Pumpkin Pie tea I was hoarding.
Now I have so many flavours to choose from!!!
I decided to start with this because I wanted to feel festive. I like it!
I wish that maybe the mint was a little stronger, but this is nice and creamy! 1 oz of this won’t last long. :)

Awwww. I could see the Post Office guys driving around like crazy today, dropping off packages! I didn’t expect it at all, but I’m happy I finally got ONE of my BF packages. :P

I should probably buy an herbal ginger tea but this is all I’ve got so hopefully it’ll help settle my stomach. :( I was planning to go for a walk today but I just feel like turtling on the couch forever.

I needed this tea today.
I sabotaged myself so that I needed it. I couldn’t sleep last night because I was worried about my interview today so I went to bed at 1, and read this fic about Lestrade/Mycroft that was surprisingly good (just not a pairing I’d put any thought into) and I ended up reading until 3:30 just to finish the damn thing, and then if had an angsty ending. K-Bear woke up right around then, so I got her back to bed, and then when she woke up at 7, I ended up cuddling her back to sleep so it was fitful for the last two hours. She kicks a lot and when I woke she had moved around so much that her feet were by my head. Little butt.
So I needed Tiger Tea to kick some sense into me. I think it worked. I think I had a good interview, but I didn’t get to say as much as I wanted. I don’t know if that means I was talking too much, she didn’t like me, or if she just hadn’t done a lot of interviews. Having sat on the other side of that table, I could see that third possibility, so I’ll just hope for the best!

Ok – ANOTHER easy sipdown from VariaTEA. (70). I’m now exactly at the point where my current teas equals my expected incoming teas. :O
This tastes like fake banana – like the bananas in runts. Which, actually is pretty good. And once this cools the cocoa and walnut flavours show up.
Yeah, I could probably go for more of this. I like it more than Tealux’s Chocolate Monkey.

So I made this at 9 as my last caffenated tea. Let’s see if I can get to sleep before 1 or 2 tonight! I just haven’t been able to shut my brain off the past few nights, but I’ve got an interview tomorrow at 10:30 and I need to be sharp. NEEEEEEED TO. I’m pretty pumped though. I can do this.
This is a decent cookie tea. It’s not sweet enough to be dough, but the walnuts are rather nice. It’s so freakin’ expensive though so I wouldn’t buy it ever again.

I like this, but I’m surprised at how strong the mate is, or how much it’s affecting me. It’s probably due in part to not sleeping enough last night (baby was up late and then I played Sim City til 3:30AM to wind down and lost track of time. Whoops). So I’m a little head-spinny after drinking this but I’m enjoying it!
I’ll just be careful with it.

I really like Civ5, but lately I haven’t been challenging myself with it. I just build and worry about culture and not getting into a war. And I play on easy. :/

Oh but none of it is split. I just added things on to orders she was already placing. I’m getting 4×2oz of teas, plus 3 from Mandala. I think that’s it.
At least the ones I sent you were sample sizes so they shouldn’t be too hard to sipdown if you were determined enough to do so. And MissB is really quite the tea enabler – I placed a Red Tea Leaf order partly due to her influence.
Heh. I love being an enabler! :) Only one package is in Blaine ready for pickup, and zero have arrived at my house yet (like one from Europe I’m chomping at the bit for…) As soon as I have them, I’ll definitely be enabling a bit more. ;)
VariaTEA – yeah the ones you sent me were the perfect size! I think I’ve tried/finished most of them by now! :O (Except a few of the larger teavana ones)
Would you say based on your response that rating it 79 is low? Or just not as good as some of your favs??

Actually I guess I’d had a sample of it before and only rated it at 72, so I just bumped it up to 79. I might bump it up further, but don’t want to go overboard in case I’m enjoying it more today than I normally would. (If that makes sense? Mood can be a big part of how I rate things…)
