I love bergamot so for me this great. It’s almost the Double Bergamot I got from Naylynn.(Thanks!) I wan’t expecting so much bergamot since there wasn’t any indication in the name. I can see where people might be overwhelmed by the flavor but this is destined to become when of my “wake-up” teas in the morning. The only problem I have is that with my Breville I have to make a minimum of 2 cups at a time. Then a resteep and then another resteep…. OK 6 cups in a row of this is getting a bit much. As always I use a bit of sweetener. I steep mine for 4 min. the first batch and then 5 on the resteeps. I still hated to throw out the tea leaves because they smelled so good. I might have been able to get another steep :) Bergamot, bergamot, goooo bergamot!

Isn’t it interesting how we all have different tastes? After reading some of the reviews I was really hesitant? But I’m glad I tried it. I really like it. I wan’t expecting much of a chocolate taste after the reviews, so I wasn’t disappointed. But I do really like this tea. While it is a mild tea, I find it quite enjoyable. I steeped the tea in my Breville: 3 full tsp./ 500 ml water (2 cups) for 5 minutes. I added a little tiny bit of vanilla sweetener. Yum yum!

Boiling 5 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 17 OZ / 500 ML

Thanks to NayLynn for a lovely sample of this tea. This is one I’ll be adding to my cupboard. Nice black tea flavor with mild bergamot, vanilla and carmel. I added a bit of stevia. It’s a lovely cuppa on a once again, very cold morning (-3). I’m quite enjoying it. Yesterday I had to brew 4 different teas before I found one that was what I was really in the mood for. All of them seemed flat and dull even though I had them before they just weren’t right. This is a much better way to start the day!

Yay! I’m glad you liked it. I added it last minute thinking you would. Stay warm:)

drank Cherry Vanilla by SereneTeaz

I was a little worried about it being too cherry candy flavored. So I got a sample at the store that led to buying a whole cup and, of course, buying 2 oz. It has a very nice cherry flavor which is well balanced by the vanilla. It is a comfy cup on a cold day!

Cherry flavoring is tricky, isn’t it? Too often it ends up smacking of cough syrup…

You are absolutely right! Some cherry teas remind me of the cough drops I had as a child. Apparently I must have eaten way too many of them so now they totally make me sick.

drank Fig Rose by Teavana

I have brewed 4 different teas this morning. Although I have had all of them before, they were all very disappointing. Have my taste buds gotten lost? So I decided to go with one of my favorite favorites. I got out my Fig Rose and finally had a good cup! I tend to put in a little extra leaf because I like it a bit stronger. So rich and satisfying. The taste just fills all the parts of my mouth. It’s like Fig Newton cookies when they are really fresh. Now I can finally relax with a good cuppa.

This is an enjoyable tea. The spices are at just the right balance. It does however remind me of many other teas. It seems to be a less spicy version of many of the chai teas I’ve had lately. I would bother buying more, I’d just go with a chai. I’ll drink what I have without a problem but won’t particularly miss it.

drank Spice of Life by Teavana

The first time I tried Spice of Life I was extremely disappointed. I tried it a couple more times. Same thing . I decided to blend it withStrawberry Cream and it is a whole new tea. I can’t really figure out why. Mmmm. It still isn’t the greatest tea in the world but it is much better. I wouldn’t buy the separate teas just to mix them together again but I’ll drink all of this. Resteeped several times.

Retired first grade teacher. I tend to like dessert type/herbal teas as a substitute for sweet treats; flavored black teas and mates to get that energy that I am often lacking ;-p
My husband of 43 years thinks I’m nuts regarding the whole tea thing… but he bought me a Breville for Christmas, so what can I say. :-D
My other interests are reading (books go well with tea :D) and beading. I volunteer at my “old” school teaching reading and I volunteer for the blind. I am trying hard to lose weight ( I have now lost 40 lbs and I’m looking good in my skinny jeans, IMHO) I am now walking about 4.5 miles a day and I am trying to do some core work for about 30 min. 3x a week.

I have been watching Doctor Who for 33years. In case you can’t tell my avatar is two daleks drinking tea! I am always open to swapping Doctor Who books for tea. I have about 120 Doctor Who books that I am eager to send some to a fan. :D Let me know if you would like any books! I love that so many people have begun watching DW!

Also I love swaps, pm me if you’d like to do a swap.

Since I find others’ rating legends helpful, I added my own.

70-79 Very good; would enjoy again, might buy again if in the mood for this particular one or a better, similar version not available or it’s on a really good sale :-)

50-69 Good; wouldn’t pass up if offered, but probably wouldn’t buy again unless craving this particular flavor

Below 50 Meh! Wouldn’t bother drinking it again.
