392 Tasting Notes
I got this in the Republic of Tea catalogue. It was very yummy. It smelled nice and peachy. I made it hot but then added ice and it made a very nice iced tea. The peach flavor really shined and I love subtle fruity iced teas. Especially with white or green bases. I would definitely consider buying this.
Preparation
I didn’t really like this tea the first time I had it but it was much better today. I steeped it for 4 minutes using steep.it and I added a little bit of milk. I think the milk really helped mellow out the spices and it was quite enjoyable. I swear it had a slight scent of rum which I thought was a little odd, but overall it was good. I am gonna bump up the rating a bit.
Preparation
I still am not a big fan of this tea. I don’t think I like what ever green tea art of tea uses because I didn’t like the mint green I got in this sampler pack either. The tea isn’t un-drinkable but I don’t find it particularly pleasant. It reminds me of seaweed and tastes almost salty. I like when green teas are more grassy/earthy.
I had the bottled iced version of this, so not this exact tea but I figured it was pretty similar since the iced tea is unsweetened. It was okay, the beginning tasted like cough syrup which wasn’t pleasant but I think it was because my fridge froze it and then it un-froze which messed up the flavoring. I have had this before and don’t remember the cough syrup note. About 1/4 of the way into the bottle that flavor left and it basically tasted fruity and I swear I tasted vanilla but I don’t know where that would be coming from.
