I am having another evening tea from Martin – many thanks!

The name translates to blueberry jug, I believe, but I thought it tasted a bit more like light cranberry! It does not taste like a hibiscus hammer hitting me in the head.

I have had bilberry flavored matcha before and I think the hibiscus is making this a bit more tart, but not too tart for me. Enjoyed with the last two Marks & Spencer chocolates that I bought before Christmas and a small cup of Chex Mix, for the ultimate taste extravaganza of sweet, then salty, then tart, then sweet…and so on.

A lovely evening snack. Thank you, Martin!

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
