I’m trying this iced as Frank recommended. Today I can REALLY smell the icing in the dry honeybush for some reason. My bag is already half empty D: Thank goodness I ordered two more bags yesterday.
Steeped 4 tsps per 8 ounces, so I could pour right away over lots of ice. Added a dash of cream and brown sugar.
Wow. This is one of the best iced tea lattes I’ve ever had. This is making me crave a big hot gooey cinnamon roll slathered in icing.
This was so enjoyable on a peaceful, sunny afternoon. I’m listening to some good old country music in remembrance of my daddy. Johnny Cash, such a stud.
Thanks so much Frank. I’m going through a lot of pain from recent surgeries lately and this tea has really cheered me up.

I’ve never had strawberry zabaglione but I’m glad it exists to inspire such a delicious tea. 1 teaspoon per 8 ounces at 200 degrees for 3 minutes in my Breville One-Touch. Steeps a light brown astringent liquor that pairs perfectly with the strawberry flavor. Added a dash of cream and sugar and this tastes like strawberries and cream while avoiding a sickly sweetness. It also has a touch of complexity that must be from the wine, that REALLY takes this above and beyond any strawberries and cream flavor I’ve ever had. I’m at the bottom of my cup and keep lifting it to my lips only to remember I’ve already gulped down the whole pot. This flavor is sexy. Can a flavor be sexy? And even the name, Strawberry Zabaglione… this must sell especially well around Valentines. A cup of this, a bouquet of roses and a box of chocolates. Yes, please!

I’m a huge fan of banana bread with walnuts, so I was delighted to have got my little paws on the last of this. 1 teaspoon per 8 ounces, 3 minutes at 200 degrees in my Breville One-Touch.
The aroma of banana bread is filling my kitchen. Mouth. is. watering.
Steeps to a dark brown liquor that’s malty and astringent; perfect balance. It tastes very good without any additives, but when I added my usual bit of cream and brown sugar, wowzers. Like, woah… this is amazing. And as it cools down it impresses me even more; this must be good iced. I bet this would be a great selling permanent.

Another perfect 10. There’s just no way I can imagine any of 52’s teas to be better than they are. So far they are all exactly what I would create if I could create such amazing flavors. Frank you are like the Willy Wonka of tea. This stuff is indeed magical.
Despite being perfect on it’s own, I added my usual spoon of cream and a touch of brown sugar. If I’m going to have dessert in a cup I’m going all out. Yummm.

Another winner. Made up a pot of this to enjoy before bedtime. Heaping teaspoon per 8 ounces. I added a spoon of cream and sugar and it tastes just like coconut milk. The more I drink it the more I can taste the cheesecake, it’s definitely more coconut milk, though. The best coconut flavor I’ve ever tasted or smelled, good coconut is near impossible to come across. I’ve found my perfect coconut tea that I’ve been searching for. I’m amazed with how far from artificial this company’s teas taste. 52 Teas/My Sweet Honeybush has definitely set the bar high and raised my standards for tea.

Just tried this iced, it’s even better than I expected it to be. I love the bold flavors in this so much. And it’s SO nice to enjoy chai without the jitteriness and crazy heartbeat I get from caffeinated teas. Would love for this to be a permanent.

Second tea I’m trying in my first shipment from 52 Teas that arrived today, as there aren’t any ratings on this one yet. That being said, this is the best decaf chai I’ve tried. I’m normally a bit gagged by chai’s, I’m not sure why since I love all of the spices traditionally used in chai. Maybe just from bad experiences with bad chai’s. I had originally ordered this for my boyfriend, but since it was a decaf hoped I would like it, since I’m always searching for low to no caffeinated teas because of my overactive heartbeat. So happy to have found this! I didn’t prepare it the traditional way but added in some cream and brown sugar (as I do with a lot of my teas, not that they need it, I’ve just got a sweet tooth that makes me do naughty things.) That made this the creamiest, dreamiest chai I have ever had. I love bold flavors and this definitely delivers. This now takes a seat with Vanilla Comoro, the best black decafs I’ve ever had. They’re like decafs undercover, I had no idea decafs could taste so great.

Wowww. So my first shipment from 52 Teas arrived today and after happy dancing at the mailbox for a few I quickly ran inside and started ripping open the package as fast as I could. I was like a little kid on Christmas morning.
This was the first one I tried because I could actually smell it through the packaging. I was so happy that Frank miscounted and that there was more of this blend left because I knew I’d be in love. I was pretty brokenhearted to see it’d run out before I got to try it; I’m a big honeybush fan especially since I have an overactive heartbeat and can’t indulge in too much caffeine, I’m also a big cinnamon fan.
I grew up smelling the aroma of home baked cinnamon rolls. It was my dad’s favorite (Rip Daddy) and he’d always ask my mom to make them. I used to help spread the butter on the dough. The smell of this tea takes me right back there. Also reminds me of dancing on the kitchen floor with him on his toes. He loved to cook, and he loved to eat, we spent a lot of time in the kitchen. :)
The dry leaves smell mouthwatering. They reminded me a bit of fig newtons, too, for some reason. But lots of ooey gooey cinnamon roll.
Steeped 1 heaping teaspoon per 8 ounces at 195 degrees for 5 minutes. Tried my first sip without any sweetener and… wow, this. is. amazing. Perfect balance. That was my first thought. This is perfect. Frank knows what he’s doing. It was great on it’s own but it was so tempting that I had to add a dash of cream and brown sugar.
I was in heaven. I’m still in heaven, I’m on my second cup. My boyfriend had just walked in on his break and I handed a cup to him and his eye brows shot up. He was very impressed. So impressed he told me to go order some more right away before it runs out. Very well done, Frank. You’ve got some new converts.

First smell of the dry leaves and the pineapple pops! right up in your face. You can smell some apple and floral notes underneath but if I kept my nose in the dry leaves much longer I’d probably get a headache from the overwhelming pineapple. I used 1 1/2 teaspoons as directed per 8 ounces at 212 degrees for 5 minutes. Steeps to a beautiful golden colored liquid that smells like pineapple apple cider with light floral notes. First sip and it hits my tongue with a sharp tang, but as it rolls to the back of my mouth I notice how naturally sweet it is. It makes my mouth water the more I drink it, but I’m not liking it. It’s just kind of missing something for me, I can’t taste much other than pineapple. As I near the end of the cup the tartness is starting to becoming annoying to me. I am going to have to add some sweetener. I would have purchased their Blueberry Bliss to mix with it, as that’s what I’d tried in the store, but they were out at the time I ordered this. This tea seems to either need to be mixed with something else or sweetened to make it enjoyable; it can’t really stand well on it’s own.

I just added a spoonful of raw honey and poured over ice as it’s cooled down by now. Completely different. The tart pineapple is toned down and it’s actually pretty refreshing. It’s sweet and smooth. I can taste more of the other ingredients now. I’ll be drinking this iced only. The hot version about turned me off completely, I was about to pour it down the drain. Interesting how much it changed as an iced with a bit of honey.

I’m confused on how to rate this tea, as I couldn’t stand the hot version’s cloying tartness, but the iced version with sweetener is pretty nice.
