Pleasantly surprised with this :) I suppose it works well though since Paris already has vanilla and caramel notes. And I’m all about vanilla and caramel, so the more the merrier. Added in a dash of caramel creamer and brown sugar for my silly sweet tooth, mmm. I like.

1 tsp per 8oz at 175 for 2 minutes in my Breville. Bit of raw honey. Lovely. I absolutely love jasmine. I never thought I liked florals until I had a jasmine tea. I thought the recommended amount and steep time was good, but I’m also curious what more leaves would taste like. I could see myself wanting a bolder taste but tonight this was exactly what I needed to wind down. It is very heavily jasmine, but that’s exactly what I was searching for. Delicately silky mouthfeel. Very enjoyable and calming.

Very tart. I wish it tasted more like it smelled, as the aroma is amazing, like blueberry cobbler with a hint of cinnamon. The taste is more like a very tart pomegranate. Maybe that’s why my bf mixes this with pomegranate tea.

Got a little crazy this morning and mixed this up with Bigelow’s Perfect Peach, and a dash of Teavana’s Pineapple Kona Pop!. Made it into an iced, sweetened with german rock sugar, poured it into a clear pitcher and threw in some lemon slices. It looks beautiful and smells heavenly! We’ll see how my creation tastes later. It’s reached 112 degrees here in the midwest lately! In need of a refreshing fruity treat.

Had a ice cold cuppa later yesterday, when I wasn’t feeling so hot. Turned out pretty darn good! The bf enjoyed it, too. He also came home later with beautiful smelling roses for no reason, so maybe I have concocted some sort of love potion.

One of my long time favorites. I remember years ago I’d been trying to find a peach tea but all the others I tried tasted like bubblegum. Normally I don’t prefer fruity teas hot, as a lot of the time they taste like hot fruit juice, which I don’t find appealing, but with a touch of sweetener added, the spices in this one remind me of a spiced apple cider, which I love. It tastes like the end of summer/beginning of fall; with summer sun ripened peaches colliding with autumnal spices.

Vanilla caramel goodness. Ahhhh the smell is intoxicating. I’m interested in what this would taste like as a honeybush or rooibos.

Harney’s original Hot Cinnamon Spice/Sunset was the first tea that I’d tried from their company. Was given some from my boyfriend’s coworker and she’d said that her Dad was completely addicted to it and that he tried to hook everyone he knew.
With one sip I became a convert. I’m a huge fan of cinnamon and drinks that taste like candy in a cup. This was heaven.
So later I discovered Herbal Hot Cinnamon, also a big fan of rooibos I decided to order a tin of this. I have a really fast metabolism and overactive heartbeat so I don’t like to over stimulate my system with too much caffeine. To my enjoyment this tea was almost identical to the original black tea version of Cinnamon Spice. Nice to know I’m also getting the added benefits of rooibos. I also am trying to cut down on sugar and you’d swear this tea had sugar in it! I wouldn’t say it’s just like a cup of red hots because I don’t think it’s that spicy; it’s not so hot that you can’t enjoy it. And I love the over abundance of orange peels throughout the tin. Slight artificial taste I can note but nothing too serious to keep me away. Love this stuff!

This is my first tea review! I’ve realized my love of tea in the past few years and have been trying all sorts of different brands and teas, so this site seems like a good way to organize my thoughts and favorites.
So anyways! I ordered several samples from Harney and this one definitely stands out. I like to add a bit of brown sugar. Could also hold up well with a splash of milk or cream. It’s smooth and malty, yet bright and cheery. It truly makes me feel like a proper queen – very complex, yet still approachable and comforting. I love the flowery notes I’m picking up on; that’s probably the most interesting part about Queen Catherine that brings me back. It’s very intriguing! One of my favorite teas I’ve ever tried! Will definitely be ordering more once my sample runs out.
Oh! Now that it’s cooled I can really taste a smokiness, and I really like it. This would probably be great iced, too. Such an interesting tea.
