Such a nice mother’s day tea! I brewed a pot of this with 650 ml boiling water and two teabags for 6 minutes. I shared it with my grandmother and mother over sandwiches and fruit. I added 1 tsp creamed honey to sweeten the tea slightly, and I think that was the perfect amount for me, but some may prefer 2 tsp.
It was such a warm beautiful day today and all the flowers were blooming, this spicy citrus tea went perfectly. I could see this going really well over ice as well.
Nothing really stands out for me in this tisane, it is a standard lemon ginger, but I thought the flavour was pleasant and fresh.

Preparation
Really fruity and flavourful! The mandarin gives a nice tang and sweetness. I don’t find this too sour, which is a nice surprise. I liked this as a strong iced tea, but if you don’t steep it too long it makes a nice hot tea as well.
Flavors: Citrus, Fruity, Orange, Orange Zest, Sweet, Tangy
Preparation
I found you could still taste the honeybush. The mandarin goes along with the honeybush instead of covering it up.
If you’re looking for a non-honeybush orange herbal, I’d suggest Celestial Seasoning’s Mandarin Orange Spice or Tangerine Orange Zinger. I enjoy both of those.
