2987 Tasting Notes
I have a friend who really loves strong black teas. I’ve seen her steep black teas known to be tannic for more than 5 minutes. I’m going to recommend this tea to her because it steeps fast and strong.
I accidentally left the teabag in for about 5 minutes in warm (but not hot) water, however I found the brew much to strong and had to dilute it to half water/half tea. I recommend steeping for 2 minutes and then accessing the strength before continuing to steep. This is a flavourful and tannic blend that I found astringent but fairly pleasant. I think this would make a very nice latte because it would be strong enough to taste good through the milk.
I didn’t taste malt at all like some other users did, however I found the flavour complex with a lot of interesting undertones. It almost tasted aged or processed differently than I expected. This was a pleasant surprise because I expected this to be very generic.Flavors: Astringent, Tannic, Tannin

Very tasty as a latte! I really like the apple, cinnamon/spices, and nutty flavour together. This tisane is very flavourful and re-steeps very well. Because of the beet root is steeps a bright pink.

I still have 5 ounces of this (along with three other rooibos blends from Granville) that I’m never going to get through. I’m hoping I end up with a travelling teabox soon because I just have so much of it!
Overall, blueberry rooibos is a bit plain, but I like the sweet, woody rooibos and the dried blueberries. Nothing really stands out for me in this blend, but it makes for a good cup when you are craving rooibos.
Flavors: Blueberry, Fruity, Rooibos, Sweet, Wood
Preparation
This reminds me a lot of Stash’s Christmas Eve (my absolute favourite) because of the spearmint and peppermint. I also taste chamomile and some spices (I assume that would be the tulsi) which makes it that much more interesting. Overall I think the flavour is fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys spearmint blends.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this tisane for two reasons. The first is that Lipton does it have a great reputation for having tasty bagged teas, and the second is that hibiscus is the second ingredient. I personally believe hibiscus has no business being in a cinnamon apple tea, but overall it tasted good so I suppose I can not complain.
The liquid steeps a caramel brown colour and smells strongly of cinnamon. I like that it tastes strongly of spices (mostly cinnamon) but is not sickly sweet like some cinnamon teas are. This tisane tastes like baked apple crumble to me. I could definitely see this being a fantastic dessert or evening tea.

So, I got this as a free sample with an online order a few months ago and have been avoiding it since I read the ingredients list. I don’t like the idea of drinking eucalyptus because it is a flavour in many lotions and medicines. I used to have the eucalyptus throat lozenges I would such on when I had a sore throat and this reminded me too much of that. I don’t like the menthol and orange together, it is kind of like drinking orange juice after brushing your teeth. I also don’t like that it tastes/smells quite a bit like oregano and I’m not a fan of savour teas.
I didn’t personally enjoy this tea, but my friend seems to really like it, so it much be personal preference.
