2987 Tasting Notes
I can not taste the oolong base unfortunately, but I really like the spice combination and the caramel sweetness. I can taste pepper, mace?, allspice, cinnamon, ginger, and maybe clove? Very complex and there are a lot of undertones of sweetness, spicy, vanilla, and caramel. I also forgot to take the leaves out and it never got bitter or astringent. However it did turn very dark, so I’m guessing this is a medium or dark oolong.
Flavors: Caramel, Cinnamon, Clove, Ginger, Nuts, Peppercorn, Spices, Spicy, Sugar, Sweet
Preparation
I didn’t care for this earl grey. I don’t enjoy the black tea base used and I didn’t find the cream flavour very good. It tasted more like cream cheese than cream/milk flavour.
Flavors: Bergamot
Preparation
The unstreeped tea smells very complex, like walking into a dried herb/bulk store. It steeps much darker than I expected, turning a medium orange. It tastes very vegetative like dried herbs and flowers. I find it quite vegetal but not bitter or unpleasant.
Second steep was a bit less flavourful and lighter in colour. It has a bit more tea flavour compared t before but I’m still getting the taste of herbs and stems.
Flavors: Herbaceous, Herbs, Plant Stems, Stems, Vegetal
Preparation
The aroma smells amazing! Like cinnamon, spices, orange, and vanilla. I don’t like the chicory root in the tea, it tastes like artificial sweetness to me, I think the tea would have been better off without it. It steeps very dark so I expected more flavour from the spices.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Orange, Spices

Preparation
Very tasty. I taste a lot of peppermint, vanilla, something creamy, and cocoa nibs. This is really strong for a bagged tea, I made three cups in less than three minutes because it does not take long to steep. I’ll be making a big cup of iced tea as well.
Flavors: Cocoa, Creamy, Peppermint, Vanilla
Preparation
Be careful not to steep this too long or it will be sour/acidic. The sweet fruitiness is nice. I think this would have made a nicer iced tea rather than hot, but it was still pretty good.
Flavors: Berries, Fruity, Sour, Sweet
Preparation
I always thought I did not like green tea because of teas like this one. As it turns out, I do not enjoy many bagged plain green teas. There are many delicious green teas out there, however I would not say this is one of them. I had it again today because I grabbed it from a hotel I stayed at however this is not something I would buy.
Flavors: Astringent, Bitter, Grass, Green, Sour
Preparation
As should be expected from a sweetened tea, this is sugary. I like the fresh lemon taste, but I do find the sweetness a bit much for me. Tea taste is strong but not bitter. Overall it is pretty good if you don’t mind sweetened iced teas.
Flavors: Citrus, Lemon, Sugar, Sweet, Tannin
